Cisco Jabber™ for iPhone and iPad is a collaboration application that provides presence, instant messaging (IM), voice, voice messaging, and video calling capabilities on Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Escalate your Jabber calls into multi-party conferencing with Cisco WebEx® Meetings. This integrated collaboration experience works with both on premise and cloud-based collaboration architectures.
This application supports the following capabilities:
•High-quality video with interoperability to Cisco TelePresence and other video endpoints
•One-tap escalation to WebEx meetings (cross-launches the Cisco WebEx® Meetings application)
Device and Operating System Requirements:
Cisco Jabber for iPhone and iPad Release 9.6 is supported on iOS 7 running on an Apple iPhone 4 (video is not supported on iPhone 4), 4s, 5, 5c, or 5s, Apple iPad 2, iPad with Retina display, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad mini with Retina display, or an Apple iPod touch fifth generation.

IMPORTANT: If connecting to Cisco Unified Communications Manager, administrators must enable the correct Cisco Jabber for iPhone and iPad configurations, or proper connectivity will not be established. What's New in Version 9.6
-Cisco Jabber is now a universal app for iPhone and iPad. NOTE: Prior to migrating from Jabber Voice for iPhone or Jabber Video for iPad, check with your administrator to ensure that your infrastructure configuration is supported by Jabber for iPhone and iPad 9.6. Also, when migrating make sure to REMOVE the Jabber Voice or Jabber Video app to avoid conflicts with your Jabber accounts.
-URI dialing is now supported in addition to dialing with Directory Numbers.
-Secure voice (SRTP/TLS) allows users to make encrypted calls.
-Service Discovery with optional URL provisioning provides improvements for initial configuration of Cisco Jabber.

Works great, video
URI (e-mail format) dialing to call standards based video systems is finally here! Very happy with this app. In addition to IM, I use it like a corporate directory from my iphone. Can start phone calls, IM, video calls, or e-mail. Telephone calls can be done over iPhone or as VOIP with Jabber voice client. Works great in background or opened. You can even add contacts.
Love the voice and video integration!
Not a general purpose jabber client
I was unable to connect this to any network I cared about.
