Cisco Jabber™ for iPhone and iPad is a collaboration application that provides presence, instant messaging (IM), voice, voice messaging, and video calling capabilities on Apple iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch.  Escalate your Jabber calls into multi-party conferencing with Cisco WebEx® Meetings.  This integrated collaboration experience works with both on premise and cloud-based collaboration architectures.

This application supports the following capabilities:

• Integrated voice
• High-quality video with interoperability to Cisco TelePresence and other video endpoints
• IM, presence
• Visual voicemail
• One-tap escalation to WebEx meetings (cross-launches the Cisco WebEx® Meetings application)

Device and Operating System Requirements:
The latest Cisco Jabber for iPhone and iPad Release 11.9 is supported on iOS 10 running on an Apple iPhone 5, 5c, 5s, 6, 6 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus 7, 7 Plus and SE, iPad 4th & 5th generation, iPad Air, iPad Air2, iPad mini 2, iPad mini 3, iPad mini 4, 9.7-inch iPad Pro, 12.9-inch iPad Pro
1st generation or an Apple iPod touch sixth generation. Cisco Jabber is also supported on Watch OS 3 running on an Apple Watch and Apple Watch 2.

Avoid it on T-Mobile

The app does the job it needs to but barely. On T-Mobile the Phone Services refuses to connect due an apparent issue with their use of IPv6 and this apps inability to support that. Works on WiFi but if I leave a WiFi area and come back calls don’t make it to me until I close and reopen the app. Difficult to be productive on the go this way.

Needs iPhone X UI support. An easier way to call people from the contact list without having to go to a chat message window first. Also the inability to select and delete multiple voicemails at once is a drag.

Keeps losing its certificate

I keep getting an error saying the certificate is missing on my device. I have to uninstall the app then reinstall it. It will then let me log into it and function for while or until I close the app then I get the certificate error again and have to go through the uninstall process to get it to function again. I have an iPhone 6S running 11.2.1 software version. Very frustrating! Love it When it’s working.

Doesn’t work

I have had this on my phone for two days and it simply does not work. In order to get it to work, I have to delete, reinstall and log in. This was supposed to make communicating with my co-workers seamless since I frequently work remotely. Most recently, the app shuts itself down and doesn’t start. Guess until it is corrected I will have to delete and reinstall each day. I expected better since this is something used so frequently in the business world.
