Credit card issues going unfixed
Yet another update is rolled out and still nothing is done on the credit card side to improve what I can only politely call a mess.
As previously mentioned, prior to any of these recent upgrades, when a new statement was issued, the app stored previous charges in the statement archives. When you opened the app to check your charges, only currently made purchases appeared.
The way the app is now, you can't tell when a statement period ends or begins. New charges as well as old charges appear. A royal mess!
In this day and age of fraudulent charges and identity theft, having a clean slate each statement period would greatly assist the consumer, your customer, to check their balances for any wrongful activity so that it can be reported to you immediately reducing their/our liability and giving us some piece of mind.
Again, please zero out the balance after each statement, show only current purchases and credits and bring back the statement archives.
You had a wonderful app for credit cards before you decided to redesign it. A redesign that in my opinion is a complete disaster.
10 year Citibank member here. This app is limited in what it can offer for credit card users but one feature that is great is the 2-step security verification.
A few tips for the new users: 1) Tapping the icon on the top right will log you out of the app. 2) Taping on your credit card will only display your available credit, monthly payment, total balance, and recent activity. 3) If you want to manage or update your account settings just close this app and turn on your PC.
Lastly, I'd like to say kudos to the Citibank dev team for continuing to improve their mobile platform. I understand how challenging it is to balance the risk management of their portfolio to the design features that are available to us.
Please see PNCwallet app & try again
Still just OK.
since now citimobile shows up on my phone, I think I will delete this crap and make a widget from the web on my home screen. The widget let's me do everything !!!
1-why cant we see recurring transfers and payments?
2-why do we need to leave the app to cancel a payment, i could've Gone to Safari in the first place
3-why can't i see my Citibank crédit cards the way the chase app does
4-why is it that if you make a transfer the new amount is not reflected when you try to make a payment?
I can go on and on, but why bother...
Amaizing that the regional banks have better apps. The citi app is mediocre so is chase's app and BAC's app is plain and simple dog $h*t. And These are the leaders .
I urge you to take a look at PNC wallet app, not their reg. App but the wallet app and contact Citibank and ask them to act like they want to help their customers manage their finances.
That pnc wallet app has gotten nothing less than 4 stars last time I checked earlier today.
Citibank, please try a lot harder.
