Description
Citrix Receiver lets you access your enterprise files, applications, and desktops to help you be as productive on the go as you are in the office. If your company uses Citrix, you have the freedom to work on your favorite device from wherever you are. Just ask your IT department how to get started.
HOW TO USE CITRIX RECEIVER
1. Open Citrix Receiver and tap Add Account.
2. Enter the Server or email address as instructed by Your IT Help Desk or system administrator.
3. Enter your User Name and Password.
4. Select the applications you want to use.
HOW TO REPORT AN ISSUE TO CITRIX - Please contact your company's IT support team before following these steps:
Option 1
1. Open Citrix Receiver and tap 'Settings' and then 'Support'.
2. Tap 'Request Help from Support'; This generates an email with log file.
3. Send the email to your company's IT support team.
Option 2
1. In the App Store, go to Citrix Receiver
2. Tap 'Reviews' and then tap 'App Support' found at the bottom right of the screen.
3. This launches the Citrix support forum where you can review reported issues OR
4. To report issues, tap the menu icon and create an account first.

Citrix X1 Mouse Enhancements
Bluetooth/virtual keyboard and X1 Mouse enhanced to support CTRL+click and SHIFT+click combinations.

Fixed Issues:
This release resolves a previously reported issue which occurred when an iOS device enters low power mode; an active session would disconnect and an error message (labeled Error 51) appears.
The keyboard fails to render Japanese characters properly within a session.
When using the IME keyboard, a performance issue might occasionally appear.
Known Issues:
In some cases, the Apps screen appears black after searching, switching between Favorites/Settings (and back to Apps), and then canceling search results. To resolve this issue, tap Favorites and then Apps to refresh the session screen. [#649485]
In some scenarios, attempts to connect via a Squid proxy server would fail resulting in desktop or published app launches to fail. To resolve this issue disable “Enable HTTP Proxy” from Receiver (Advanced) Settings. [#651489]

Great but new update...not so much
Much less convenient since the latest updates.
I've used this app since my 3rd year of medical school and am now in my 3rd year of residency. I've always found it to be extremely handy and easy to use. I constantly use this on academic rounds to help with orders and looking up results.
The new update has been a huge pain in the neck. After just a couple of minutes with my device on standby, the connection breaks and "attempts to reconnect" but even when it says "reconnected" the app drops it. This is on 2 different EMRs so it is definitely the app and only since the latest updates. Please fix this.
Citrix X1 Mouse Shift Select - Fixed
I'm using the Citrix X1 Mouse on Receiver 6.1.5. So far, the one issue I am having is how to do a Shift-Click to select a range such as a list of emails in Outlook. The Receiver Extended Keys can lock Ctrl so I can select email one at a time to group them into a list but a Shift lock is also needed to select a larger range by selecting the first and last entry rather than one at a time. Update: The 7.0.2 release on Jul 28, 2016 fixed this issue. Up to 5 stars.
Much More Useful now with the Citrix X1 mouse
Although I have only rarely used the app prior to getting an iPad Pro with the Citrix X1 mouse. I can say using it with the mouse is so much better and makes the app so much more useful. Since Citrix has really only made the PC application work on the iPad and has not addressed it as an actual iPad app, the advent of the Citrix X1 mouse fills the gap nicely and makes it useful again on the iPad. There are just some things that your finger can not do as accurately as a mouse pointer.
