Hopefully true?

I was somewhat disappointed to see the App say that the Dred Scott decision determined that the slaves had no rights under the Constitution because slaves were not 'citizens'. Well...of course they weren't citizens, because in truth, the Dred Scott Court determined that the slaves were "non-persons" under the Constitution. How could a non-person ever become a citizen?

The slaves received by that Court the same designation that the US Supreme Court gave to the unborn, that of being non-persons. How else can evil folks expect to get away with legalized slave ownership or legalized contract killing if the victims are not first stripped of their personhood?

I know the truth hurts, but I hope the rest of the App doesn't try to soft peddle other truths people need to know about history in order to learn good lessons. Otherwise, this is a very nice App with an awful lot of information and visuals. (If I find anywhere in the App that reveals that slaves were stripped of their personhood, I will come back here and change my review to reflect that truth.)
