Great concept, but needs longer maximum length excepts
I wanted something like this to grab excerpts from my favorite podcasts for Facebook and assorted other social media sites to get my friends interested in some of the things I like.
I was pointed to this app by Jordan Harbinger from Art of Charm, however, as we both soon discovered ... this service only provides up to 24 second excerpts.
In that 24 seconds, I wasn't even able to extract a single point that was being made. Unlike other media (gif / video) where 20 seconds gets your point across easily, audio only realistically needs between 2.5 - 4 minutes to get anything of value across unless it is actively summarized (this would require the content creator to go through that process, which no one with useful information will bother doing)
If the maximum length of Clammr messages is increased I would gladly give this 5 stars and actively use it.
If you have a podcast, get this app now!
We love it! Best way to create snippets and samples of our podcast and share our music/mixes on every social media platform. Before, we would have to use a DAW to chop up and edit what we wanted our potential listeners to hear. But now, we're just a few clicks away from sharing the best parts of our shows!! The only downside is that the samples are short, but that really doesn't hurt it.. It just leaves your audience wanting more!! If you have a podcast and want to help market your brand/show, do not hesitate! Download this app today!

Handy Podcasting Tool
The difficulty of a small podcast to grow a following or convince potential listeners to try us out is high because of the initial time investment in listening. My cohost and I were looking for ways to integrate short soundbytes to highlight what we were about in a quick, digestible way. Clammr has been a wonderful tool in getting our voices out there, effortlessly into Twitter and Facebook, so our stuff is easily seen and heard.
Go check out some stuff out there if you're still on the fence, cause it's really a useful tool.
