Adorable, but needs work.

It’s so cute! But after playing it for a couple of days, there are a couple of annoying features which probably mean I’m going to stop playing it soon. First, the prize wheel. You can spin it for free once per day, and then a couple more times after watching an ad. That’s cool, except that coins are one wedge on the wheel but represent about 80% of all of your prize hits. Make it actually random and I might like it. They’re just teasing you that you can get the tools you need to expand your land. Second, fairly early on you unlock a couple of cute little characters in little homes. If you feed them the things they want they give you a reward. The thing is, they each take up four units of precious real estate and I have no idea what the purpose is of the things they give you! Now I have no land left to build something that I actually need, and I am unable to store these large things that don’t seem to do anything for me. And again, I can’t get any shovels from prize wheel to expand. These things need to be fixed before I can really recommend this game.

The Tak ,

Not truly a game, since you have no choices.

First of all, this game is adorable. It has a cute concept, great art work and I love the style of it.

My issue with the game however is the game play. Rather ,the lack of it. You lack any real agency or ability to do anything in this game, there is no such thing as choice.

You are given each of the buildings at a specific level, and are given exactly the number of them they want you to have.

You have no choice, or say in the matter. You can not strategize by adding more of a certain building to gain extra resources of that type. Nor can you chose to focus on building A first instead of building B, because you will have the buildings handed to you one at a time.

I do not have an issue with 'hurry up and wait' games, but this game is not allowing you any choice or freedom. You can not expand your territory until the game tells you it is time by dolling out the necessary items. There's no capacity to earn, buy or save up for any expansion or item that you want simply because of a lack of any way to use the resources, resources which you can not even save up because (like every other aspect of the game) you have no way to increase your VERY limited storage capacity.

I love the concept of this game, I love the design of it. I just wish it was actually a game and not an exercise in patience. Freedom of choice, the ability to play the game differently from the next player after you is essential to calling a game a game.

New game idea

Do “PixelPlay” where you can become a pixelated creature out of 🐶🐱🐹🐰🦊🦉🐴🦌🦡🦔🐿, dress and color it, raid for plants (🌳🌿☘️🌾🌷🌻🌸🍒🌽🥕🥦🍑🍇🍓🍎) to make cool stuff, collect food (🍎🍐🍊🍋🍌🍉🍇🍓🍈🍒🍑🥭🍍🥥🥝🍅🍆🥑🥦🥬🥒🌶🌽🥕🥔🍠🥐🥯🍞🥖🥨🧀🥚🥞🥓🥩🍗🍖🌭🍔🍟🍕🥪🥙🌮🌯🥗🍝🍜🍲🍣🥟🍤🍙🍘🍥🥠🥮🍢🍧🍨🍦🥧🧁🍰🎂🍮🍭🍬🍫🍿🍩🍪🌰🥜🍯) from friends, gather different PRS (pixel resources) to make cool worlds and more, oh and here’s all the friends to meet: Lisa, a 🐹 with green fur, a dark green shirt, denim overalls and a white scarf that says “Hi, I’m Lisa!” “Greens my favorite color-you can tell, right?” “I love writing!” And when she gives you food (🧀) she says “You will CHEESYly love this, I can tell by your smile!” Also there’s more, and each one gives a different food type. This is kind of a mix of animal crossing (meet friends) and Minecraft (pixelated, making stuff, etc.)
