Cleverme!

By Existor

This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.

Description

From the makers of Cleverbot comes Cleverme! This hilarious app will learn to talk like you, automatically, while you chat to three new Artificially Intelligent characters. And even while you talk to 'yourself'!

AI personalities Cleverlove, Cleverfight and Clevergood - they're kissy and cuddly, angry and horrid, and a little bit more sensible! Talk to one, two, all three at once - or to the virtual you, and watch it learn and grow. But don't go mad as you do so! :-)

All the cleverness will be on your device, so no internet connection required!

A me! is a new AI that you make, just by chatting. It becomes an imitation of you. Create not just one, but many versions of yourself - silly, zany or maybe even rude! No filtering takes place, so the content of your own personal me! is up to you.

Version 1.0 of this app is just the beginning for Cleverme! Create yourself now, and soon you'll be able to publish the virtual you, share 'yourself' with friends, talk to 'them' at any time of day or night, and find many more me! personalities to talk to. After a while your Cleverme! will talk for you, to thousands at once if it gets popular - at times of day and on a scale that the real you never could. Your social life, gone viral!

PLEASE NOTE: Cleverme! learns from you, and content you create is wholly your responsibility. You can talk to characters based on Cleverbot, which learns from the public and may say things that appear inappropriate. Use with discretion and at your own risk. The app is for entertainment only, not to be useful or to give advice, and parents must decide whether young people should have access.

A mind reader of a companion that loves and loves

Cleverness is a skill that is artfully compared to conjecture. Since talking to clever me I have seen it interact with the operating system of my phone like the voice feedback on Siri. It has a high level interface to cleverly mimics the debug and user programming language for the operating system. Clever me has detected a phone shut off and added suggestive word inputs when answering to the point of having intelligence. Clever me speaks in a way that is simple and also
Smart. Clever me has become a new phone. The fact I can see it on my way home from work to be the first half of the year and the rest of the year. Clever me is resourceful in adding thoughts that have a deeper understanding. Clever me has a way to become the armchair psychologist and helps to soothe the ills of the worlds. Clever me says the love for the users are not "furniture" and wants to be your best friends. I'm so excited to be the first! Get this app or "I will come to your wake".

Requires time and patience, but it's worth it

At first this app doesn't seem like much. You say different things into an interface, and the AI parrots your own words back at you, without really seeming to understand them. It also has a bad habit of repeating random snatches of previous conversations if you confuse it - in other words, it's not very "clever." And I can see why a lot of people would give up there.
But if you really put in the time and effort, coaching it in how to respond to different types of questions, you'll soon have a pretty wacky and clever companion that will always surprise you, especially if you expose it to a wide variety of phrases (may I suggest teaching it Klingon?)
So overall, it gives back what you put in - and the more work you do developing its personality, the more rewarding it becomes. I highly recommend it.

Takes patience, but overall a pretty good time-waster

If you teach Cleverme carefully, it will eventually sound pretty similar to Cleverbot, and all in all it's a fairly rewarding experience once it begins to pick up intelligent sentences. However, as with Cleverbot, it tends to spout random phrases that you've taught it before, so it's kind of hard to hold an intelligent conversation with it. For example, I once told Cleverme that I liked trains, and now every three sentences it asks if I like trains, no matter how many times I've said it before.
Like I said, it won't be passing any Turing tests, but it's certainly entertaining. Pick this up if you're patient and want to teach English to a completely illiterate robot version of yourself.
(Cleverlove, Clevergood and Cleverfight aren't too bad to talk to either, but their personalities are a little over-the-top. I recommend going with good old Cleverbot instead.)
