Click Book, also known as a Click Track Book, is a utility designed for film composers. By entering a specific tempo (in beats-per-minute) you are given a list of timings represented by minute:second:fraction-of-a-second (ex: 2:37.88).
Every beat's timing (quarter notes, if for example, you are composing in 4/4) is displayed with the actual millisecond offset from the beginning of the music.
Film composers have used the click book to help decide on the best tempo to compose in by how closely based each timing is to the "hit" (or event) of the scene.
Toggle between displaying the entire list of "clicks" as one continuous stream of timings or display the list in sections where each section represents a musical measure. The "display measure" mode helps in visualizing where each hit point falls in the musical score.
You can choose to display each measure with a specified number of beats per bar. For example, enter a "4" and that would imply a musical timing of 4/4, 4/8, etc.
Browse tempos from a list of pre-defined click tempos ranging from 6-0 (240 bpm) to 28-0 (51.43 bpm).
Save any tempo to an editable favorites list for easy tempo comparisons.
ClickBook is a Universal app for the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad family of devices so that each device's screen resolution is taken advantage of.

Quick and easy to use
This app does what the original Knudson click book did - but instead of hundreds of pages to scan through you simply entry a tempo and 'voila!' you have your list of musical beats. What's really nice about this app versus the Knudson book, the beats can be separated by virtual barlines. So if your expected score is in 4/4, you will see the timings separated every 4 beats. This is a nice visualization tool.
While the layout is sequential (one beat after another) versus the full-page spread of the Knudson book, it is still easy to find the beats. I would recommend this app for any composer who writes to picture.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
