This app makes only one thing, from a menubar allows to strip automatically (or manually) the formatting from text in clipboard. You simply copy the selected text from your browser page or any other application and ClipboardPlain makes the rest

invisible icon with dark menubar
At first i thought this app did would not even launch on El Capitan, then I noticed an odd space in menubar and clicking on the seemingly empty space openend the menubar menu for the app and the app icon in the menu bar became barely visible. I have my menubar set to the dark theme so it is nearly black and the icon for this app is the same color as the menubar. When the app icon is cllicked on it turns a gray that is slightly lghter than the menubar color when in the dark theme. The app does what it says it does and this is good but it really needs to be updated to support El Capitan’s dark menu bar option. If this is fiixed, I will change my rating but considering the app has not been updated in over two years I suspect this app has been abandoned.
Does what it says
I’ve always wanted a way to do this simply, and now I have it. It works great, and also removes clipboard compatibility issues between Chrome Browser and Microsoft Office programs.
Just saved me.
