*** Please keep in mind while reviewing Quickpic that, when used in conjunction with websites, that its utility depends on the configuration provided by the website and server support. If you're having technical problems, please contact the administrators for the website you're trying to upload to so they can optimize their server and configuration. Communication errors are always network or server problems.
Quickpic provides a quick and convenient way to email photos. If you ever think it takes too long to go through the regular flow of opening the Camera app, taking a picture, clicking share, waiting for the Main app to launch, selecting the email addresses you want to send to, clicking send, and waiting... you'll find Quickpic to be much more convenient, especially if you regularly email photos to the same email addresses.
Quickpic remembers the email addresses you like to send photos to and even lets you send more than one at a time (though currently only as separate emails). It also lets you browse Flickr photos, and you can email those too.
The other thing that Quickpic does is allow website developers to integrate with it. By including a special link on an iPhone web application, services can allow you to upload photos and even video, without having to write a full-fledged iPhone app themselves. This is a big savings for all the social websites out there that want to have a great iPhone experience. For more details, see the Quickpic support website.
What's New in Version 1.4
Support for iOS 6 and iPhone 5
Works seamlessly in Ravelry
Ravelry users - this app works perfectly to upload photos from my iPhone 4s to Ravelry. I think the complaints about this app are a result of improper integration between the app and whatever application it is connecting to...which would not be the fault of the app itself.
Works great with ravelry!!
My title says it all - I'm not sure why it doesn't work well for other people, but it worked perfectly for me to upload pics to ravelry. I wish I could upload more than one pic at a time, but still a huge improvement over the way(s) I was doing it before!!
Worked fine, one suggestion...
Used it to upload two pics to Ravelry with no problem. However, if there's a way to select/use multiple photos at a time, I'm missing it. That would make the app more user friendly, and more efficient.
