Fantastic replacement for default Mac clock
I’m a Brit living in the USA and find it really helpful to have a quick-reference for what the time is back in Blighty, where my family and many friends are. I tried one or two other apps first but Clocker is perfect. I’ve been using it for months now, as a replacement for the default menubar clock. It looks identical until you click on it, then you get handy info about your favourite other timezones, and a neat slider so you can quickly see how future times line up without having to count forwards or backwards. It’s a simple thing but it works flawlessly and makes life that little bit easier.
A now indispensable part of my day - I've got colleagues spread throughout the world, with logs and metrics in UTC. I'm constantly using Clocker, especially the time slider ("13:23 UTC was what time in Bangalore?"). The only improvement I can think of at this point is a modifier key for the slider to slow it down - I like the 1 minute resolution, but the slider is too sensitive to set an exact time in. It'd be nice if something like shift-slide would slow it down by a factor of X, so I could set a precise time.
Now I love it.
I want to love it. I really enjoy how I can get it to show multiple countries on the menubar but for some strange reason I can't get it to open up automatically every time I turn on my computer even though I set it to open. It will only open when I click on the app and that is annoying.
Update: Now that I was helped with getting it to start up at login I love it. It does everything I need it to do. I love how I can add multiple citites. 5 Stars.
Thanks for the feedback and I apologize for the issue. Can you reach out to me at firstname.lastname@example.org with info about your macOS version?
