ClockSmith is a little workshop on your iPhone or iPad to let you arrange your own desktop or nightstand clock. Several time pieces are provided and you can choose which ones you want and position them and size them however you like on your screen. Sizes and positions for both landscape and portrait orientations are saved separately giving you two different layouts.
Time pieces provided in this version include various digital clock readouts, battery status, date/day display, phase of the moon and a mindfulness bell that rings on the hour. Turning your device upside down actives flashlight mode.
Some of the time pieces have settings that can be changed. Quiet hours setting prevents the bell from ringing when you are sleeping. You can play music on your iPod while the app is running. Music will pause when the Mindfulness Bell rings (if bell is added).
ClockSmith supports portrait and landscape modes on iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch. No network connection needed. Clock screen can stay on while plugged into power. ClockSmith uses very little battery power and can run on battery with the screen locked (off).
Please write reviews and tell me what additions you would like to see. Comments welcome.
Coming soon: color and photos! You can choose colors and place your own photos anywhere on the clock display.

Pretty good app.
This app. has a lot of things I like about it, however I REALLY wish you could change the tone of the Mindfulness Bell. The tone of the current one really grates my nerves, hindering me from becoming mindful in a good way. And considering that is the main reason I bought this app., I'd really like to see more choices. Please add more tones in the update and I will give it a full 5 stars!
ClockSmith is an interesting App. While it overlaps some other data available on my personal ITouch, it is nice to have it packaged all in one place. The moon phase is also a nice touch, but I particularly like the battery status that shows available battery power as a percent. It beats second guessing the tiny icon on the face of the ITouch.
Niece to be able to move objects around, but the app is very limited. The background black colour looks faded. They could add a colour palette to change both, the background color and the text. Even they could offer different fonts. Ah, also they should include the function of being able to use your own photo or image from library or camera?
