A Stellar app w/dedicated developer

This app has grown significantly from its days when it only supported SkyDrive (now OneDrive, of course.). The developer, (Roman, IIRC), has added the other major clouds to the app and hasn't asked for another dollar, or forced the purchase of a new "version" for the privilege like some dev's do....in a saturated iPhone market it's somewhat of a rarity that I appreciate...it hasn't gone unnoticed!

The process of importing file stubs (indexing) is part art, part science, and is probably a result of iPhone's inability to run for an extended time in the background without a running process. I always find it difficult when I change phones. I think the official guidance states you should let music play while importing (true) but I've found it works best by now allowing the device to sleep and staying in the app until the file search has completed.

You will not be disappointed with this app.

Replaced my "Music" app

Ever since Apple bloated the music app with unwanted features, and started shoving Apple Music subs down my throat, I knew I needed something different. Make my own streaming system. Enter cloud beats. I've currently have my music dedicated to dropbox (might move to box for extra space 2 vs 10gb). All my music starts as a .flac file and then is compressed down to a .m4a . I used a method called he-aac v2 using an app called xact. This takes a 350mb album down to about 50mb. Something that would be 150mb if in normal aac or MP3. Sure, I've got my .flac converted to .aiff for lossless home use, but for out and about on a mobile, then CloudBeats is perfect. I bought this app, even though I'm capable of having it on my phone for free. It's that nice! Gotta support the devs!

By far my favorite APP... Ever!

I use this everyday and when I am on wifi there is no concern with data usage. Data usage is minimal outside of wifi for a half hour here at the gym, or hour there on the bus but definitely keep track of usage. Stylish and easy to use, with cover art for albums displayed in app and on lock screen. My only minor complaint is that it isn't compatible with older .wmv music files.
