Best Music App For Car & Online/Offline Listening
This app is actually awesome and has solved all my problems when it comes to listening to music in my car and in general! A couple months ago, I removed my songs from my phone (itunes) to save more space/memory, and started using my cloud service (Dropbox) instead. The main problem with listening to music from Dropbox is that the songs do not play automatically one after the next... annoying, and even more so when driving. This app was the perfect solution! Within Cloudbeats, I can access all my songs from my Dropbox folders: play, shuffle, repeat, previous/next, without an issue! The best part being that the music can be listened to with or without an internet connection. All within the app, you can just download any folder from your cloud service and it will be available for offline listening. Exactly what I needed and I absolutely love it!!!
I discovered CloudBeats in its infancy as of few apps supporting Microsoft's cloud storage service fka SkyDrive. What started as a simple track-playing app on one cloud service has expanded to multiple clouds and now has graphics, playlists, offline capability, multiple speed playback, for podcasts/ audiobooks, memory for playback position, and cloud scanning for maintaining a library. I rarely experience skips or buffering while streaming live. I don't care for iTunes so OneDrive and the CloudBeats app works well for me. I recently upgraded my phone and recommend allowing the one-time scan to occur in the foreground with the phone on until it has completed. Whenever I sent this to the background the process stopped.
Update: Streamlining the creation of playlists is great so far. Adds to the appeal of an already phenomenal app.
Dealing with the issue of Compilations is the last little hang-up I have with CloudBeats. I'd like them included in my Music Library, but without being added as individual artists.
What else can you say?
It does what I wanted so many other apps to do, and does it effortlessly and attractively.
Aside from the slow loading of large music libraries, I can't really complain, but do have a few suggestions...
Maybe a way to go further into the sub folders for the My Library section of the Dropbox folder selection would be great.
I also wish my "Compilation" folder wouldn't get broken up in the "Artists" tab, it literally doubles the number of artists.
It would also make it easier to create playlists if given the chance to just select music already loaded in My Library.
Solid app with ample features and regular updates. All in all, it's great, and wouldn't hesitate to suggest it to any of my friends.
