Morphing into MSNBC

There are an unlimited number of news sources that focus heavily on politics, and I'm sorry to see CNBC turning into another one. We get hate anything that is politically moderate or conservative. But that's not why we use CNBC's app. We are looking for unbiased FINANCIAL news, something at which CNBC used to excel. Too bad....this used to be such a great site.
REVIEW UPDATE: This is an update to my review posted above, written two months ago. Tonight I went to the App for an evening market update, and to check for any financial news that could affect tomorrow's markets. But there were only THREE financial stories. On the entire site. The other TEN stories were ALL about the election; mostly bashing the Republican Party. Really....there just wasn't any financial news. Virtually none! Ridiculous....and more than a little disconcerting. It throws all of their reporting into question.
ELECTION UPDATE: So what was the leading article on CNBC following the Republican victory in the presidential election? An article entitled "How to Move to Canada". CNBC has gone from being a great app, to a disappointing app, and now to a disgusting app. Absolutely disgusting!

Terrific app!

I work as a financial advisor, and this app does a terrific job of capturing a summary of ideas along with delivering headline pieces truly in real time. I downloaded and deleted a number of other news apps, including Bloomberg, because the CNBC app was just faster, cleaner, and better. Is this an all-encompassing platform where I take everything as sacred? No, I filter these ideas with that thing people forget they have - a brain. But does it help me build awareness of current events in a frustration-free way for me to start thinking about concepts in discussion with family, friends, and clients? Absolutely.

Good clean news feed and great market tracking

I used CNN money in the past for their clean feed of the news. They recently updated that app and ruined it. So I went searching. I found the CNBC app does a really good job of providing some of the same clean news feed. It could be a little better on how you customize the layout in the order you want by sector, but it's definitely better than the others. The tracking of my stocks and watchlist is great. It's one of the few I found that tracks after hours quotes. With a few tweaks, this could be fantastic!
