Not updated enough.
I've had my CNG Civic for about 3 months, and have used this app the whole time. I think it's the best available as of this writing and has not let me down as it has the other reviewers, but it isn't updated often enough. I have found CNG stations not on the map. Some have already been reported, and one I reported myself yet months later it still isn't on the map. So I'm penalizing 1 star from an otherwise excellent app. When new CNG stations open or existing stations are reported, they should be added to the map in a reasonable time.
Well written and thought out app
As an interested party in the NGV world, this app has helped me determine that I will replace my next car with an NGV. Notice the map, which helps you determine trip routes and local CNG stations. The news feature is full of interesting articles of people/companies that have been there/done that in the conversion process.
If you are an NGV owner, or considering purchasing one, then this is a must-have app to help you navigate the world of CNG stations until they become as abundant as petroleum.
Potential to be the best, but outdated and crashes
This quickly became my go-to app after I bought my Civic GX in 2014. It started off great, and I was actively updating prices. Within months, I noticed several other open CNG stations not listed on CNGnow. The voting system for the community to add new stations is worthless and a waste of time. In the last several months, the app and website has been nearly unusable. If CNG is going to continue to expand, potential NGV owners need to know 1) ALL of the fueling options available to them, and 2) where CNG gge's are cheaper than gasoline in the current time of low oil prices. I hope these issues are properly fixed soon.
