What's New in Version 2.7.6
This update contains minor enhancements.
CNN Is Slipping
I use CNN daily as my news source. I wake up to CNN on my iPad! I'd like to see all "new" news stories placed first on the page and stories that have already been on the front page run at the bottom. It's more efficient for busy readers.
In terms of reporting, you have (I think) CNN is the most balanced reporting of all news sources. With the elections not far off, I would hope that you would keep a lot of this off the front page--giving it another section. It just seems the quality of stories on the "Home" page is not as well done as before the change.
News and headaches
I like the fact that this app lets you jump to the news stories that you find of most interest. However, I have seen the same ad way too many times. And more than once, the App has crashed. (I suspect because the clip was still uploading?) And I happen to think that a spell check would help the content - please start applying it automatically on every story. There is no deadline worth delivering ambiguous, misspelled sentences.
Overall, I use this as a primary source of news; just want to see it improve!
Give me the news!
After dealing with 2nd rate news casters, or what is obviously the B-Team in Journalism on this app, I've decided to get my news elsewhere. I understand the company trying to give their up and coming journalists a platform to report on but most of the articles and coverage on this app is borderline childish. On top of that, their greediness has recently added commercials to every video you watch and often times the app crashes after watching the commercial so if you want to watch the video you have to open the app again and watch the commercial.... Again.
