What's New in Version 4.5
Slow loads and crashes. Delete and reinstall
My last review is below. I finally updated my operating system. Deleted all the apps I wasn't using, then reinstalled CNN. Works like a charm. Content is still rather stagnant except for the election which I am tired of. I would give it 4 stars if they updated their content t more often.
I am so tired of the slow loading of screens and crashes I often turn it off in frustration and disgust. Also the pop up ads for CNN programs are annoying and often will not close. So goodbye CNN. I usually enjoy the content, but very frustrated with your response time, load time and crash frequency!
Need a subscription option!
I'll pay to get rid of the ads. Please give me the option. I can barely stand the 15 second ads they put in front of videos. But now they're trying to sneak in 30 second ads here and there and I can't stand it. I won't look at an article that's got an ad that long in front of it. I really appreciate the occasional times when there is no ad and I just get to see what I'm looking for. What a concept! The pop up ads are also extremely annoying as well.
Biased reporting/Biased arrangement of articles
There are still a few of us out there who want unbiased reporting that holds both parties to equal scrutiny. Won't find that here. Just today, one of the top 3 articles Clinton's lead in NH has shrunk to 4.9% . Scroll WAY down, and wow, Trump is leading in FL by well, by 2% (which is really the bigger story). Now, you may think, "Great, I hate Trump." But what happens when CNN takes a position with which you disagree? Not so great.
