What's New in Version 4.2
Minor performance enhancements
Who do you have for customers. You must have cave people for customers. I don't usually write reviews, nor do I usually read reviews; but this time I was so amazed I read 100 reviews & I couldn't believe how many totally out of it customers you had. Previously there were the complaints about the lead in voice that was on the App & now there's the complaints about everything on the App. These people want a newspaper, not an App, they should go back to their caves. & read a newspaper not an up to today's news App. This is 2014, not 1914. Get with the program & get your head out of the sand. Excellent App, do not go backwards; keep up the good work. No need to go backward. Thank you for an excellent App.
Biased View of GOP Candidates
I can hardly believe how biased CNN appears to be towards Trump. You had me for decades but now you lost me because of just this. You are not providing a balanced analysis of that man. His vaccine comment in the debate was only about the dosis amounts and frequency. I thought he made that very clear AND Carson agreed with him on stage. CNN misrepresented this and characterized his debate and campaign performances in an unfavorable light. There are now scores and scores of other examples with really all of the candidates. Favorable / Unfavorable should not be your approach. Fact based and impartial is what we need. There is a lot of bias in some large newspapers in this country. Please don't be the same thing. The US needs a clear picture of what's reallyhappening in the world. I thought I'd never say this, but I flat out do not trust CNN like I blindly used to.
No more- used to be great, but it's all over now!
I've had this app for ages, and the content is what you'd expect from CNN. It does differ a bit from what you'd see online, but it is appropriate for a mobile device. BUT - and it's a big one, the functionality of the app has declined significantly. Scrolling through the news feed has become nearly impossible with all the adverts. Loading time is appalling on the homepage, and requires a minimum of three "pull down to refresh" actions to complete this simple task. Right now it freezes 3 out of 5 attempts, requiring the closure of the app, and then forcing the user to suffer through a lengthy wait to try and reopen. I've deleted and reinstalled to no avail. Lastly, the app has the temerity to place a giant pop up when you enter the app, asking for a review in the App Store. Well, CNN, here you go.
