Coach.me will completely change your life! Read our reviews!
Start with our world-class goal and habit tracking. Our free tracking tools will change your life. If you get stuck in your goals, get motivated by our community or hire one of our world-class coaches.
Every aspect of our app and community is focused on helping you achieve mastery. From day one, we show you your progress, celebrate your milestones, and answer your questions. Honestly, we should be charging you $500 just to be a member, but 90% of our tools are completely free to you.
Every aspect of our experience has been designed based on the latest research on psychology and behavior design. We are huge fans of Carol Dweck, Daniel Kahneman and BJ Fogg. If you join our community you will develop a growth mindset, learn the power of positive reinforcement, experience the motivational force of external accountability, and harness your improvement efforts in an efficient way according to the tenants of deliberate practice.
Here are a handful of success stories from our community:
“Wish I would have met my coach Will years ago! I am literally 3 times more effective and productive than I used to be.” ~ Dan
“Before my coach Josh, the idea of bounding out of bed early in the morning was a dream and something I had tried and failed at for years. Josh broke it down into very simple steps. I am now sleeping better, getting up early consistently and the biggest breakthrough is getting up is now easy.” ~Jess
“Without being able to press that 'Send Message' button to my coach every day, I am certain I would not have come as far with my writing. With that momentum I managed to write 500 words nearly every day, started a blog, and am still going. It's been only 3 months, and I feel like a new person.” ~ Alina
“I got a promotion literally two weeks after hiring my business coach. Now I have a much bigger say over product and strategy. I feel like a leader and people treat me accordingly!” ~ Graham
“Dorothy has been so inspirational to me and gives me the reasoning and a solution to any problem I have had on the diet. With her coaching I lost 20 pounds and now have the habits in place to lose the next 20 on my own. I might keep her around however, just for the support and occasional kick in the butt.” ~ Estela
“I get more done before my family wakes up than I used to in an entire day. After countless attempts to do this on my own, hiring George as a coach was the lever I needed to shift my productivity fast forward. I've been successful because George helped me create a morning routine that works specifically for me.” ~ Jim
What's New in Version 2015.12.8
This release fixes offline check-in.
Were you expecting an essay?
This has nothing to do with offline check-in, but a lot of people are starting to think about New Year Resolutions and reflection.
The reflection part is more important than the resolution part. You shouldn't skip it. What worked in 2015 and how can you repeat that? What limited you in 2015 and how can you fix that in 2016?
Most people pick their New Year Resolutions at random: “I want to learn to fly a plane and have six pack abs and only eat vegetables because I heard that’s what Bill Clinton is doing.”
Don't be that person. Start with reflection.
One of the big meta goals for most people is to be happy or at least happier. Gratitude is one of the ways to get there. So, as I write this, I’m thinking about some of the things I’m grateful for. That's my goto form of reflection, "What am I grateful for?"
=At Work=
* I’m grateful for the Coach.me leadership team of Alicia and Terrie. These are the two that do the most to make this company run. I’m grateful for their work, their ideas, and their commitment to the mission of changing people’s lives.
* I’m grateful for our coaches. We have 5200 now (up from 700 at this time last year).
* I’m grateful for our community. Every day someone sends me an amazing story of inspiration. Tracking is the core of self-coaching and your success is the foundation for everything else we do. Thank you!
* I’m grateful for our investors: Ev Williams, Bijan Sabet, Steve Schlafman, Tony Robbins, Tim Ferriss, David Allen, Greg Yaitanes, Narendra Rocherolle, Jeremy LaTrasse and SV Angel. These are the people who paid for us to run a massive experiment in human potential. Of course, I expect the company to pay them back, but that was never a guarantee. So we should all thank them for their faith.
= Not Work=
* Always grateful for my partner, Sarah Milstein. We aim for an equitable partnership but it’s not. She’s bringing so much more to our relationship. If I was a power, then we’d be a power couple.
* I’m grateful for my mom, a power user, and my constantly sprawling family. I grew up an only child and now have six siblings, a niece and four nephews. Such great people. Mixing work and not-work, grateful for my sister, Kati, who’s working for us right now.
* This next one came out of the blue. I reconnected with a really old friend who’s now a coach. In 1992, Graham Betchart and I ruled the basketball courts at Herbert Hoover Middle School. Now he does mental strength training for NBA players. I think long term friendships are the best, even if they have 20-year gaps.
* My favorite movie was Fury Road.
* My favorite TV was Master of None, Transparent, Fear the Walking Dead, Silicon Valley and Catastrophe.
* My favorite podcasts were Tim Ferriss and Call Your Girlfriend.
* My favorite vacation was Turkey. The American press doesn’t have very nuanced coverage of Muslims. For example, did you know that in Turkey, Muslim’s love dogs? I love dogs too. We have a lot in common. Also, the Mediterranean is great.
* The self-help books that actually helped: Miracle Morning and The Art of Learning.
* My gym. This is my happy place. It’s like Cheers in that there’s literally a guy named Norm who greets you when you arrive. I have hundreds of Coach.me check-ins here ranging from swim, bike, weights, basketball and running.
It’s a little bit weird that you read this far. Because, really, just use the app. Coach.me is for you. But if you did read this far, thank you. I think building apps and communities is social and I like being able to share a bit about myself as a way to be "not just the president, but also a member."
In Service,
Tony, CEO/Founder of Coach.me
P.S. My 2016 Resolution is going to blow this thing up (in a good way)! Switching from Lift to Coach.me was super hard and full of difficult decisions. But it was worth it and we're coming up on a big explosion of new stuff.

Customer Reviews
free and paid help with habits and goals, really works!
I’ve been using this app regularly for a couple of years and am quite satisfied. It’s constantly being upgraded, which is mostly a good thing. I still miss the old Lift name and logo! Some of the recent negative reviews mention crashes and missing data. There was a buggy version in December, but it’s fixed now.
I especially like the Props you can give and receive and keeping a streak going (I got to 110 days in a row in Set Priorities for Tomorrow!) I used the paid-coaching feature once, for a few weeks, and it was VERY motivational to check in daily and receive praise and suggestions on the Work on Business habit.
I haven’t tried the latest feature of Leadership coaching, but it’s really a terrific service that coaching is no longer an exclusive and expensive affair. Even if you only do the free side of the app, there are plenty of supportive people to answer questions and give you encouragement.
Not for me
I can see how this app would be great for a lot of people... But I deleted it after 10 minutes of downloading. I have a fixer-upper and I was really looking for a generalized task list with goal setting, & this is just really unwieldy for that use. I had to "search" for pre-existing goals within the set system and select from there. You also can't select weekend days to be reminded, unless you turn on "every day", which is a whole lot different than "remind me on Monday and Saturday - the two days of the week I'm working on the house right now because of scheduling. So... Yeah I guess if you have goals that are super mainstream? Sure. But I don't want or need to spend 5 minutes programming in each task. I want something a little less "big brother". Off to google.
Making sustainable changes!
I’ve been using this app for almost 2 years - through my ebbs and flows, it keeps me clear on what habits represent balance, health and personal growth. The online community is inspirational and motivational; I’ve had the pleasure of working with a number of the online coaches - there’s a range of styles and strategies to supplement the habits dashboard.
Highly recommended!
It is encouraging to get high-fives from others working on similar goals. There are built-in milestones and celebratory moments when you
