Description

Colorbind is a relaxing but challenging puzzle game.

Move and fold paper strips by dragging them with your finger. Use them to join dots placed on the screen.

Easy to learn, yet hard to master.

Features:

– 84 Levels (Easy / Medium / Hard)
– Achievements
– Statistics
– Tutorial
– Listen to your own music while playing

############################

Due to popular demand, here's a list of the main rules of the game:

– Move a paper strip over a dot of the same color to collect it.
– Collect all dots to complete a level.
– Empty dots don't count.
– Fold a paper strip to change its direction.
– Horizontal paper strips are darker, they underlie the vertical ones.
– You can't collect a dot on a corner of a paper strip.
– You can't fold a paper strip on top of another.
– If a dot is covered by two paper strips, it needs to share its color with the one on top.

– Once a level is completed, tap outside the menu to see it in full display again. Take a screenshot if you like.

Wraps You Up!

If you've read the other reviews here you've already gotten the idea that this game, while simple in concept and intuitive to play, is increasingly challenging and enjoyable as you progress, all of which is accurate and true. And then there is the beauty and attractiveness of game. Sometimes it is fun to clear the little dialog box that pops up (just tap once on the background) after you complete a game to just view the pattern created by the solved puzzle! And, if you REALLY like the finished pattern, why not do a screen grab of it by pressing your iPhone's Home button and Sleep/Power-on buttons at the same time? (You could use this technique to keep a record of solutions to some of the more challenging puzzles too.)

The game is so easy to grasp that the instructions consist of a simple tutorial level and there are some "achievments" that are not necessarily explained but that automatically unlock after you "achieve" them. Some are significant, others are just a fun acknowledgement like how many meters/feet you've covered or rollbacks you've used. Not serious, just fun stuff and that's what games should be - FUN.

If you don't have fun with this game you're either doing wrong or just don't have the patience and creativity to enjoy it.

Now can anyone help me with the solution to puzzle 78?

So close to finishing!

I have only 63, 82, and 84 left to go before I finish the game. Win it? Nah, I've already won! The prize was in the playing. So rarely fo I find a game like Colorbind that enthralls me so, and even rarer when finishing is so close it is palpable. Colorbind is the perfect game because throughout it's 84 levels, it has been constantly challenging and fun, yet I have been able to progress at a sufficient pace to keep my interest. The simplicity of rules and game structure make this accessible to many players without sacrificing anything. Finally, all this is accomplished without relying on a clock. There should be a universal ban on time-bound games in my opinion, because the constantly running timer does nothing more than turn a hobby into a stressor.

Great game

I couldn't disagree more with the review below me that asks for puzzle progress to me saved. These puzzles are so short that saving progress seems downright silly, and often counterproductive. I've been playing this game for years and whenever I get stuck I almost always can close the app, come back later, reopen a puzzle, and see the answer almost right away. That wouldn't work with saved progress. When you reopen the app you would be stuck looking at the same (probably wrong) partial solution you had before. I firmly believe that adding such a "feature", therefore, would actually make the game more difficult.

As for the game itself, I love it. Well worth paying for. Please add retina graphics!
