Great concept, too many glitches
I really liked the app at first. In all honesty, it's helped me create really great photographs. But the numerous glitches become so frustrating and difficult to work with that it almost defeats the whole app and makes it almost unusable. You can close the app for say, 5 minutes, open it again and find the session you had open just just gone—disappeared out of thin air. Don't touch the adjust button until you're ABSOLUTELY SURE you don't want to make any more changes to your photo—touch it, and when you return to the photo it will JUMP OUT OF THE USABLE PART OF THE SCREEN. Be careful when you try to save it to your camera roll—it doesn't save every time. I really like the app as a concept and the interface, but if I can't do simple things without a glitch destroying everything I've just worked on, then I can't trust this app to do the simplest of tasks. Please fix these glitches. And if you are a consumer, don't buy this app until they do.
Wow. Just wasted $1 & 1 hour.
I am an IT professional accustomed to using many diff programs.
I am very disappointed with this app. The interface is NOT intuitive and there is little to nothing to guide the first time user. After an hour, there is still one major control that seems to do nothing. You MIGHT be able to figure out how to get the results you want after 30 mins of trial and error (I wasn't able to) but for me that's poor design.
The first problem is that when you first load a picture to work with, it displays with a filter already applied (b&w, sepia, or blue tone) instead of the original full color image. I found no way to change the whole pic back to color and work from there. Instead you have to paint a mask on the pic and change that area or the area not masked. This worked the first time I tried the app but I couldn't repeat that on further tries.
Second, there's really not much this application does. The developers don't claim otherwise so I don't blame them for me expecting more. And what it does do (allow you to re-color diff areas of a pic), has been done just as well by some free apps I've used before.
So I cannot recommend this app at this time. Maybe a future version will resolve these issues, and that's the only reason i'm not deleting it after one hour of use.
I was reading some of the other reviews and was surprised to see some less than favorable reviews.
I love the app and have created some great final pieces of digital art that friends and family very much like. I feel it gives you so many options and can even mix different effects to give you a very unique piece of art.
I do recommend and use this in almost of my pics to give unique twist.
