And of course, rate issues you've recently read.
With Comic Geeks you can:
- Browse a massive comic book database with over 200,000 comic books
- View new comics from this week, or check out upcoming and past releases on the calendar
- Discover new books with blogger and community reviews
- Create and manage a weekly comic pull list to keep track of your favorites
- Catalog your growing comic book collection
- Save comics you're missing to your wish list to remember later
- Mark issues read to save your reading progress
The Comic Geeks app will periodically sync with your activity from LeagueofComicGeeks.com and vice-versa when connected to a network.
Note: The first sync/login will pull all relevant information down to your device. It may take a moment, but subsequent updates will not interfere with your use.
What's New in Version 2.1.0
My Issue Details - You can now add details to comics in your collection, including notes, purchased format, date purchased, price paid, quantity, and condition.
Collapsible Variants - To simplify sorting and default filtering, Variants are now automatically collapsed under their main cover.
Improvements to Sorting - Regular Issues, Annuals, Variants are now grouped together.
Improvements to Performance & Stability - Issue and Series sections have been cleaned up and should cause fewer issues such as crashing / feature locks.
So much potential
Has issues that limit usefulness. Still useful for pull list. Site is useful for research & community too. The worst problem with the app is that I can’t keep it in sync with the website. Updates made on the app regularly get lost. This needs to be totally reliable. Data flow from site to app is more reliable but both are painfully slow. That’s also a problem that can be fixed. I hope that improvements continue, this has potential to be a “killer app”.
Best out there but room for improvement
Found this app and love what it offers. Has some glitches and crashes but still a solid app. Love the social aspect as well. I wish the scanning was more reliable, and the red notifications in my collection would go away. Like that users can submit cover variants, it shows me stuff I might not see and thus might miss. Stability and tweaks will easily increase my rating.
I used to use this app all the time. It was fantastic for staying informed on what was coming out.
Deleted it to make space and re downloaded today. App doesn't work.
All other reviews say the same. Last update apparently broke it. Forces you to make account but "connection is broken"
