I literally just purchased this app and I already love it. I immediately gave it a trial run by copying some text to my clipboard (“Happy Birthday”). I then copied a second set of text (“today is Friday”).
Now, normally, once you copy a second set of text, the first set of text (“Happy Birthday”) would be gone. However, with CommandClip app, that is not the case. You can EASILY - just click on the CommandClip icon in the top Menu bar - go back and retrieve the first (“Happy Birthday”) text.
To further test it, I then copied several more lines of text. Same AWESOME results! CommandClip allowed me to go back and retrieve any one of them. I know this may not sound like a big deal to a lot of people, but I have been wishing for something like this for a long time as I am frequently going back and forth from emails to websites, copying user names and passwords. No longer will I need to do that. With CommandClip i can simply copy all of the different text segments I need and then easily retrieve any of them with just one click. Thanks, CommandClip, for making my life a bit easier!
2 Stars because
It’s unclear how you use the keycommand to paste an item. I want to hold 5 things in the clip board and use a separate command to paste each item…
will evlove overtime. still worth a buck. recommended for everyone.
