What's New in Version 2.0
In addition to a redesigned app, new features include:

o Deposit a check by capturing an image of it using the camera on your mobile device.
• Bill Pay
o Schedule, change or cancel payments
o View pending payments
Nothing personal to the bank itself. I love commerce bank. their customer service is amazing, and if I ever have a problem they consult me promptly and courteously. My only concern is that their Mobile app is straight out of 2009, and could use some major updating. For example, incorporating the use of TouchID to log in would be really nice, and a GUI that is designed for the typical consumer and has a more colorful and friendlier interface that doesn't feel like your navigating through a file cabinet on your phone. Also some options to do more with your account than just be able to make deposits and transfer funds is expected. Notifications of transactions would also be really nice for security purposes. These issues have made me genuinely consider switching to BofA because of how often I have to use the mobile app and what a pain it can be to have to use the webpage.
People should read the "Terms & Conditions" before complaining.
Charging a deposit fee is a minor flaw with this app. I agree it should be free, but giving a "1-star" review for such a minor issue is ridiculous. The fee is clearly outlined in the "Terms & Conditions" everyone must accept before using the app.
The app provides all of the key features and is a great alternative if you can't make it to the bank. My primary complaint is the outdated interface. I'm a stickler for attractiveness, and this app is lacking in that regard. However, the functionality is perfect for my needs. The ATM locator is really helpful, and I can see my updated account details real-time. The $0.50 deposit fee isn't a major concern for me at all as it's not something I'll be using.
Reviews should be about the app
While I completely understand that someone would be upset about a fee to use the mobile deposit feature, these reviews should really be about the functionality of the app. Did that feature work well (regardless of the charge?). I haven't used it, I rarely deposit a physical check, but the other features of the app thus far seem to work flawlessly. I would like to see any option to schedule transfers (in advance) between accounts like you can online. No complaints from me... But I do agree the fee is excessive for those that need to use that very handy feature.
