Horrible Application and even worse customer service

I've tried this program before and couldn't remember if it was the PS3 version or the XBox version that worked. It definitely wasn't the XBox version that worked. First, the app store version is an old version of the software. The newer version is available to download on their website but it doesn't work any better. This program is similar to most MAC programs in that there are very few settings to adjust. The problem is they took too many options away and you can't control even the most basic options. I've tried writting customer serivce three times now and have never received a response so if you take the chance installing this program good luck trying to find help fixing it when it doesn't work. For me, I can only see 100 songs from my Itunes library which told me maybe it was a registration issue but with the app store version you can't even see those settings. For videos I can only see 5 files in hundreds and it says I'm sharing 3 folders but wont show me which ones. It also seems like you are only able to share one destination folder and all of the subfolders. I wasted my money on this program but some people have had better luck so I think it is 50/50 odds. Most of my videos of divx or Itunes compatible files but even the photo folder is showing about 1% of my library so issues are in every category. Good luck!

For shame, NullRiver, for shame.

This app provides no ability to prevent the "Connect360 Helper" from starting up every time I turn on my MacBook Pro. I have a laptop, I have no need to serve up videos to my Xbox when I'm in a completely different country, thousands of miles away from my Xbox! I don't need yet another process sitting in the background using up resources, when I should be able to tell Connect360 that I only want the Helper process to run when the App is running, and to not start itself every time I turn on my computer. I tried manually removing the process from the list of processes that begin at startup, and Connect360 Helper does in fact stay closed upon restart…. that is until I use the App again and again it adds itself to the list of startup processes. I just want to be able to select an option that only runs the Helper or any other background process when I am running the App itself, and thats it. I don't want it running in the background when I have no intention to use the app. My laptop is not a dedicated media server, I have no need to have my media served up for my Xbox 24/7, I have more important things to put my system resources toward. I have sent support emails to NullRiver TWICE, and have recieved no response! So I gave this app one star, because of poor customizeability for those of us without dedicated media servers, and even poorer customer service. For shame NullRiver, for shame.

Not understanding thje low ratings and complaints

I read all reviews before I purchase and app, and if I would have went by the poor feedback I would not have bought this program. I know some devs leave positive comments for their products, and as a reviewer myself I have to figure out the true from the untrue ones. However the low marks on this program is wrong! Now maybe the people leaving this poor feedback cannot operate the program or follow instructions, but I had no problems with it. I downloaded the program and turned on my Xbox and pushed start and no problems. It found all my movies and everything on iTunes. This will be the new way I can watch all my movies now, as I have them in different folders when I rip them. Until now I had to use Vuze to stream my movies to the xbox. It is very easy to use.

Great job on this program and keep up the good work!
