It found a place in my dock
I'm a user of Launch Center Pro and had some contact shortcuts set-up already, but I gave this app a shot and fell in love. One of the nicest features to me is how the app handles searching and dialing a number. I stay in a lot of hotels with my job and have their numbers stored in my phone. Apple offers no way to easily to search for and dial a number stored in contacts except for Siri, which I'm not always able to use, or Favorites, I'm not going to add every hotel to my favorites just for easy dialing. Even using spotlight search just bring up the contact info and then I still have to select the number. It's a cumbersome method. With Contact Center, I type in part of the name and tap the number. It's that simple.
This app desperately needs an update
This application has not been updated since it's launch August 2014. I no longer recommend this app as there are many other apps that work better and some include widget function.
This Contact Center app provides a subset of Launcher Center Pro, specifically accessing your contacts and allowing you to text, email etc your contacts. I like being able to customize a screen for my favorite contacts (mostly family). What needs to improve is choosing amongst multiple phone numbers and address a contact may have. if you set up a folder based upon a contact that has multiple phone numbers or email addresses the program chooses which one to use. This can be changed later but the method is clumsy. I hope they adopt the method used in Launch Center Pro.
It's in my dock
I'm a huge fan of Launch Center Pro, so while I didn't think I *needed* an app dedicated to contacts, I gave it a try and have found it useful to have a separate launch pad texts/calls/emails. The mechanics of using it are similar to Launch Center Pro, so transition was seamless.
If you have not tried Launch Center, or have found it too complicated, start off with Contact Center. It is much easier to set up and use, and once you've got the basics, using either app will be a snap.
ps--Contrast responded to my email with feedback within hours. Always a good sign when a company keeps up with their emails ;)
