Diamonds

I have played this game every day. I have opened many restaurants. I have spent quite a bit of money on the diamonds due to having to need them for everything. My complaints in regards to the diamond rewards you get. In the casino why are there a 1,2, and 3 diamond slot and you only can win a total of 15 diamonds off of the 1 diamond slots once a day? Why do you only get 2 diamonds for logging in daily? I recommend if you log-in daily that maybe they could be increased to a certain number. And also when you reach the maximum total of 10,000 why do you only get 7? It takes a lot of time, patience and effort to reach that maximum number to keep leveling up. The benefit should be more than just 7 diamonds. Especially since everything literally requires diamonds. While I don’t mind spending the money I also would like to benefit a little bit more from the time, effort and dedication I put into playing this game. I played this game back when it first came out and you would think that as long as it has been out that some things would have been tweaked by now. That is why I stopped playing before. I get that you have to make it hard but you kind of make it almost impossible. If you add up the total amount of diamonds one player who does not have the possibility of spending all day playing the game can get daily it would equal 24. I know personally for me I am unable to spend 8 to 10 hrs a day playing this game.

Becomes pay to play very quickly

I like this game a lot for a cooking progression game. I like that you eventually open up new restaurants for the variety. I sought this out because it was a free game; but how many gems you end up needing for food, equipment, and interior upgrades, is unreasonable if you aren't willing to put money into this. Some people disagree and I have no idea how they are doing it. I have gone back through to get 3 stars for each level and played levels over. I enjoy the game so I don't mind this but how often you have to replay versus getting gems to even open a new restaurant gets tiring. Some levels you won't get 3 stars without certain upgrades to your equipment or interior store to boost quickness or tips. Some restaurants that you open - the interior upgrades and food/equipment upgrades will ALL take gems. I play the casino casually because you rack up tons of coins playing over and over. I have one time received a gem win and never received anything else, even coins - and that is playing on the 500 bet only. I am not someone who will spend money on a phone game, so I'm not sure how much longer I will keep this installed. However, another issue I find is that the price to buy gems with real money versus how often you need the gems in-game is very high. I feel bad for people who can't control themselves and do end up buying gems because it must end up being an expensive, addictive cycle.

Challenges are a rip-off

The mechanics of this game were very fun and easy to progress while still being challenging, though the rate of gem rewards is very low compared to how quickly it starts requiring them to purchase even small upgrades - I would much prefer if they were tied to stage completion rather than levels. This was a little annoying and stalled my progress for a bit, but I still liked playing. However, the first time I saw a ‘challenge’ pop up that promised a reward of double the entry fee (which was somewhat high for where I was at that point, but not unreasonable), I decided to save up my gems to enter. It quickly became very clear that the challenge was impossible to complete without having multiple gem-costing upgrades, if not every single upgrade for that level, as otherwise you could not hit your coin goal on the upper stages even if every customer left with a full bar. I got all the way to the second-to-last stage before stalling out with no more gems for upgrades or cupcakes, and I had already spent over the amount I would have gotten as a reward. That was a whole lot of progress lost with no way to get it back. Nowhere was this mentioned when paying the coins and gems to enter - these challenges seem to be meant to gouge players for their coins in hopes they will spend more than the reward, or pay for more gems. That frustrated me enough to make me delete the app. I’m going to find a different one that’s not pay-to-play.
