Invaluable, One of my most used Apps!
The apps at the Mac store are usually a good deal more expensive than the ones for IOS and many are really are not necessary to have across all three of my devices: iPad Pro, iPhone7 and MacBook, however some are and make my life a whole lot easier, and this is one of them. As a student and entrepreneur with a busy schedule and multiple todo lists, calendars, writing assignments, notes, etc, I am copying and pasting information all day, all night and it's nice to have a way to categorize and keep all of these pieces of important information so I can make a time to go through my lists and assign what I have copied into all of the appropriate areas. Also, I use digital textbooks at all times when possible , plus need to read many research PDF's all of which allow for note taking, which allows me to go back, copy and paste my notes into a folder for study guides or for writing papers. I know that there is now a universal copy and paste feature across all new Apple devices, but this is just quick, convenient and well worth the very small amount of money invested.
Copied's usefulness is truly unlimited.
I purchased Copied the week it was released after reading about it Appadvice and upgraded the same day to get the iCloud syncing feature. I installed it on my:
iPad Air 2
It was a nearly perfect app. Every few times I dug through the settings, I would find some other useful feature, something else would “click”, and the app got even that much more useful. For example, the Copied keyboard extension on iOS is incredible.
Over the next few weeks, the developer released gradual updates which improved the app even more. However, I suddenly started having issues with the app crashing and being extremely sluggish. I corresponded with the developer back and forth, and he provided me with updated beta versions of the app in an attempt to figure out the issue. It turned out to be a piece of bad data in one of my clippings. Once that was taken care of, the app was back to perfect. It’s been amazingly reliable ever since.
I’ve used CloudClip (app), Command-C (app), Pastebin (website), Wepaste (website), cl1p.net (website) just to name a few. None of them even came close to delivering the seamless experience of Copied. I have it next to the dock on my two 27” Thunderbolt displays. It’s always “on top” and always visible on screen. It’s use to me is truly unlimited.
This is one of the most useful apps I have purchased for iPhone and Mac. Makes it simple to sync your clipboard across your devices. Doesn’t sound very glamorous, but I have found this to improve my productivity and I have found many uses for this app. Worth the money, this app is feature-rich and is well thought-out. I use only the basic features, it has all kinds of advanced features for power users. I’ve tried other apps of this kind and they weren’t reliable nor designed as well as this one. Highly recommended.
