CopterKid is a mindlessly fun and addictive game for all ages that allows you to pit your skills against other players from around the world. It’s perfect for playing on a train journey to work, back seat of a car, during recess at school, or even at a boring date!
You must fly as far as possible whilst keeping our little CopterKids out of harm's way. However, it’s not as easy as it seems, you have menacing aliens, evil scientists and an entire squadron of the Soaring Skulls that will try to capture you and retrieve those magical propeller hats. Oh, and you might want to watch out for the bemused sea monster too!
CopterKid offers superb 2D graphics, increasing levels of difficulty (there are a few surprises after level 1, so be careful!), stunning islands to explore and the opportunity to compete against a global player base via its online leaderboard. We've also integrated Facebook connect for bragging rights.

Heard an update was coming...?
...so I decided to redownload it. The game is still an exciting/addictive/frustrating-but-not-too-frustrating as it ever was. I'm hoping the email I got was true and that Apple, as usual, is take taking their good ol' sweet time to get the update approved. It's a fun game as it stands and the fact it's on sale is a good reason to get it and (hopefully) a sign that Fiplab hasn't forgotten their super high-tech beanie wearing heroes.
I like it, my kids love it!
I wasn't sure what to expect from this game. I thought maybe it'd be fun for a few minutes and then I'd move on to other games. Boy was I surprised. The game is a lot of fun and it's the game my kids always go to when they play games on my phone. CopterKid has found a permanent place on my iPhone.
Having to touch the screen then release you finger is a horrible way to control the character. Tilting should be how you control the game. The character dies on the slightest contact with anything. It would be better if you only slowed down or lost points instead of ending the game. I feel I wasted my $2. I hope an update comes out to make it better, but until then I don't recommend anyone spending money on this game.
