CopyQueue lets you take control of your file transfers, such as copying to and from USB drives, network shares, downloading from the internet and uploading to FTP sites.

Large files and slow connections are where CopyQueue really shines. Never worry about a file transfer being interrupted again, because with CopyQueue you can resume it. Never worry about how long a file transfer will take, because you can pause it at any time and resume it later. Use the built in bandwidth limits and schedule to reduce your network impact and complete unattended transfers overnight. If you regularly copy large files, you'll find CopyQueue invaluable.

With CopyQueue, you can:
- Copy multiple files faster and more efficiently than OS X.
- Pause and resume file transfers, even after restarting or reconnecting to the network. You can resume a transfer weeks or even months later.
- Decide which files are transferred first, after you've started copying. You can even automatically sort them by size or time remaining so that the files you need first, are completed first.
- Retry and resume transfers that fail if the network is disconnected.
- Optionally verify that every byte is copied correctly, if you are using an unreliable connection.
- Control how much network bandwidth is used, to prevent blocking other network users or exceeding quotas.
- Schedule large transfers for off peak periods, such as overnight.

Customer Reviews

I needed a quick and easy way to copy over 180,000 files, but it needed to be throttled. I stumbled on this after buying another app beforehand …. this one wins hands-down! I am copying and sliding the bandwidth throttle a little at a time and adjusting it just perfectly to match what I want it to do on the network. Very well done, sir!

Failed Irrecoverably at most important function resume copy

former sysadmin

I bought this as it promises ability to resume copies. I gave it a very softball test, I was copying something, everything was stable and none of the files being copied were opened by anything.

I pressed the “pause” button , then the “resume button” — immediate failure— “Desintation already exists”.

There is no apparent way to recover although you may get ANOTHER application to handle the ds store files which may have been the cause.

But I didn’t buy the app to learm to use another, different app.

On the good side, the interface is simple and clean and if it worked at the most basic important funciton for me I would have been happy to pay $7. As it is I feel like it is completley false advertising to claim it resumes copying without painful workarounds.

Does not deliver

This app looked promising but it does not deliver, at least for me.
Tested on 10.9.5, trying to copy a 15GB folder to an external drive. STarted no problem, but then the estimate time to complete the process jumped to a few thousand hours and stayed there without ever completing the copy.
The same task took the finder about 20 minutes no problem.
Tested different folder sizes and different drives, none of the copies ended up being completed.
I emailed the developer via his webpage but I didm’t get any answer.
I requested I refund.
