Pretty good playlist maker
I like the functionality of this app. It is neat just dragging a song onto a playlist. Being able to position a song when I put it into the playlist. When I take a song in a playlist and drag it into the master list the song is taken out and that song is up top with similar songs below ready to be added.
Would like a few more features. Hide songs that are not on my iPad and show the total time of a playlist. Option for a song to be in the playlist in two different locations.
No issues or instability on iPad Air with ios 7.1
Simple elegant, just what i wanted.
Source playlist and queue plus controls all on the same screen. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Great for on the fly DJing. Drag an entire playlist or individual songs into the queue. Playback is gapped (no crossfade). I am a professional dj (partner dancing) and i use this for backup in case of pc failure. It is perfect. Just be careful not to use the native music app controls while you are using this app, because that causes some strange things to happen.
Great app, but please add optional functionality!
I like this app, but there are two important missing functionalities that would render it perfect (and without which I can't really use it to play music for tango dance events).
(1) When I add a song to a playlist which already exists on it, the original automatically gets removed. Please add the option to turn off this behavior! I use blank 1-2-3sec long pauses to separate the sets ("tandas" of three-four songs) that are pre-organized in my itunes playlists (and which I'd like to drag-and-drop to create the music for the night). These blanks are frequently re-used, similarly to the so-called cortinas which are separating the sets from each other.
(2) More importantly please add handling itunes playlist folders! I make heavy use of folders, and now I need to swipe through many hundresds of playlists to find what I'm looking for.
