No manual way to delete your account

I was enjoying this app for a while, but even after I disabled email notifications, I continued to receive them. So, I finally decided enough was enough and went to delete me account--well, guess what? There is NO delete account option. You have to go to their website and write a support ticket asking to have your account deleted. Months went by with no response, and my account STILL EXISTS! Seriously: how is this even legal? Let people delete their accounts!!

UPDATE: Developer responded asking me to email their support email to address this concern and delete my account. I did, and nothing has happened. This is over two weeks ago. Review stays at 1 star, and I will be looking into my legal options.

UPDATE 2: Developer deleted my account. I am updating my review to 3 stars. I think it's a good product, and they told me they will hopefully implement manual account deletion soon. They need to work on customer service though, the only responses I got were seemingly through reviews here on the App Store.

Great way to get involved

I love that it lets you see at a glance the issues that are up for vote. And I love that I can directly email my reps with my comments. I'd love it more if I was CC'd on those emails to my reps, and I'd love it more if I had an easy way to email my rep, about an issue, AFTER they voted on it. As in, I voted Nay, my rep voted Yea, and I want to tell them (from the particular issue we disagreed on) that I think they were wrong. Sure, I can email them myself, but having an immediate feedback button on a given issue that they voted contrary to my decision? PRICELESS!

Legislators don't listen very much, so being able to easily voice my opinion on the issue though the app is beautiful. It makes them aware that not only am I paying attention to what's going on in my country (with my initial yea/nay vote + comments,) but that I'm still aware that they voted against my interests, and that I'm STILL MAD, and will remember their track record in future elections.

Best Political App Ever!

I've been using Countable for several weeks now, and I've got to say that it is the best political app I've ever seen. It keeps track of legislation going through Congress and other political news, and lets you know how your representatives vote on stuff. It also allows you to vote on issues coming before Congress, and allows you to voice your opinion to your elected officials. Who knows if they pay any attention at all to it, but if enough people start using it, they will have to. I highly recommend this not just to political nerds like myself, but to everyone who wants to keep track of what is being legislated and how your legislators vote. This app could be a real game changer if enough voters use it.
