Country Counter helps travellers count the countries you've visited and share with friends through social media.
Country Counter creates a unique Travel Diary for each country visited where app users can add photos, places visited and tips. Users can also create future Travel Wishlists and compare with their friends for most countries visited via a Leaders Board.
This is your gateway to the app. At a glance you can see how many countries you've visited and how many you've got to go. As you travel, your world map will turn blue with the countries you have visited.
Helps you record details of your travel and store photos and tips. Did you stay at a great hotel, eat at an amazing restaurant or meet a fabulous guide? Record the details in Tips and you'll always be able to help your friends plan the trip of a lifetime.
Enables you to create lists of your top travel dreams. You can share these lists with friends and tick them off as you complete them.
Enables travellers to compare their country count with friends on social media and with all users of the Country Counter app. You can also use Leader Boards to see where your friends have been to help you plan your next trip.
Countries contains a complete list of sovereign states and territories. It helps settle those questions about which places count as sovereign nations and makes sure that everyone is “country counting” from the same list!

Ratings and Reviews
Easy to use but inconsistent
Easy to use but inconsistent on what is counted as a territory and what is a country. For example, Curaçao, Aruba, and Sint Maarten are actually countries within the Kingdom of the Netherlands but are counted as territories. Whereas Guadeloupe and Martinique are overseas French departments but the app doesn't count the special municipalities of Bonaire, Saba, and Sint Eustatia as territories... they just aren't even listed. Everyone has to go through passport control in Bonaire, Saba, and Statia (even if you hold a Dutch passport) just like everyone has to in Guadalupe and Martinique (even if you hold a French passport).
Tedious to use
Select country to add, enter basic info - the app continuously asks you if you want to share on Facebook. To add a new country you are taken back to the address book, starting at the "A". You can search for countries. Many times I selected a country and it just took me to the list I created without adding the new country. I tested this several times to make sure I was clicking on the correct arrow. Would not recommend
Needs to be fixed
When it works, it's the best app available to keep track of your countries. I love it. Unfortunately it works 1 out of every 10 times I try to use it. Crashes on startup and needs fixing. I wonder why the creators of this app haven't fixed it yet?
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
