Covenant Eyes

By Covenant Eyes, Inc.

This app is only available on the App Store for iOS devices.

This app is an Internet browser for users of Covenant Eyes Accountability and Filtering. It is designed to replace Safari. If you use Accountability, sites that you visit using this browser are monitored and reported on your Accountability Report. If you also use the Covenant Eyes Filter, sites will be blocked based on your Filter Sensitivity Level and your custom block/allow list.

• You must be a Covenant Eyes member to use this app.
• Disable Safari and other browsers for maximum protection. To access the Internet, you should only use the Covenant Eyes browser app.

• Bookmarks
• Tabbed browsing
• Each website visited is assigned an age-based rating

Internet Accountability tracks the websites you visit on your computers, smartphones, and tablets, and sends them in an easy-to-read report to someone you trust.

This brings transparency to your Internet use and helps you build trust and fight temptations online.

For parents, it means you can see the websites your kids visit and have conversations about what they see and do online.

Our Filter blocks inappropriate content so it never becomes an issue.

Parents, you can block sites based on the ages of your kids. You can also set custom block and allow lists for each child.

Reinstall app to fix crashes

Recently, Covenant Eyes uploaded a new update that caused the Covenant app to open, do nothing, and crash.
I contacted the support team for Covenant Eyes and they gave me a simple fix to the problem.
All you need to do is delete/reinstall the app and log back in. Warning: Once you do that, you will have lost all of your bookmarks and any saved websites on your desktop. This is a small price to pay to have this fabulous app back!

So if you need to get the app back, make sure you reinstall this.

usable again!

Works again! After the latest update and a re-install, the app works again! So far, no issues with crashing. As said below, I'm excited how the app is being streamlined to function more like safari.

Was excited by the last update, the app received some much needed functionality. Unfortunately, this latest update wiped everything away and has rendered the app usable. Literally can't even open.

Reports wrong OS and Browser

Covenant Eyes iOS browser reports bad information to websites. While this may be intentional, it unfortunately prevents me from having it as the only browser when I have to interact with sites that require iOS10 for work. I was hopeful they would fix that with this update, that hasn't happened yet.
