Fun game

I wrote this early on: I'm really enjoying this game. Although I can't afford many of the challenges I can afford the daily one and am building up a wardrobe. More ways to earn money and diamonds would be nice. There are also many options and features which I do not understand at all and are not really explained--unworn, travel, modern, etc. The help section seems to assume you have a clue about what is going on. The fashion houses which sound interesting are all full. Voting is a popularity contest and gorgeous looks which win often have nothing to do with the theme of the challenge, but that seems to be a basic premise of most games. It would be nice if there were two ratings--one for liking the design and one for evaluating how well the design meets the theme. But despite flaws the basic game is lots of fun.

After playing a while I still enjoy the game, but most people playing have some weird ideas and get lots of votes. For instance, evening gowns are worn for almost all occasions and get the highest ratings. Dresses slit to the naval and the hip are popular to attend family reunions, meet the boyfriend’s parents, and tour Middle Eastern countries. People carry purses with their wedding gowns. People cook in evening attire, wear spike heels to lounge around the house, and go to work in clothes with lots of cleavage and short skirts. Maybe these things are common somewhere in the world but not in most of the US.

I agree with Ally! There is no way to compete with the people that are high levels and have purchased the hair accessories. Higher levels have better hair and makeup which sets them apart from styles in lower levels. There should be judging for different levels, for instance levels 1-10 judged together and levels 11-25 judged together etc.. because right now level 1 is being judged with level 30, it makes it impossible to win the big win if you win at all. I have been playing this game every day forever and have never won the big prize! I am starting to get discouraged to play at all. And now it won’t let me play, keeps saying I need to down load new version but when I click that it takes me to the app store and there is no where to do a download and I have no upgrades to download for any of my games listed. Been this way a week now, if it doesn’t change soon I am just going to delete it and move on! This game is great but it has become all about the money and things have become too expensive to even purchase with your game credits! And then you can’t ever win the big prize to be able to spend money, why keep playing!

Too Expensive

I have tried hard to enjoy this game for a couple of months. The clothing options are great and the models beautiful. However, while I understand that game developers build in ways to generate revenue, this game is just too restrictive. (1) There is only one way per day to earn $500. This will typically buy one or two items for the closet - not jewelry tho. (2) The clothing is WAY expensive in comparison to the payout on entries. All other challenges have so many requirements that the items simply cannot be bought. (3) The challenges are so far outside the real world (Fairy Queens, Gladiators, Evil Witches, Super Heroes, etc.) that you must TRY to buy things like masks, crowns, or scepters instead of using your very limited resources on real fashion items. (4) Diamonds. The payouts are extremely low. I've actually gotten a 5.0 score even though I'm a newbie... 125 diamonds? Really? (5) Almost ALL items from previous months require diamonds to purchase them yet there is virtually no way to earn them by playing. Almost ALL jewelry requires diamonds too. (6) I have even purchased diamonds once and even in this context, the prices are too high for the number of diamonds you get when compared with most any other game of this type (such as Design Home game, for example). I give. You've built an "unplayable" game.
