Final update: Ok coway, you win. It was love at first sight when I saw the Airmega 400's modern design and sexy curves. If only this beauty had wifi, I thought. Lo and behold, you said for just $70 more, I could. So I took the bait. For 6 months, you've let me down. The app? Epic fail. Below second-rate. Updates nearly every day?! Wifi disconnects? Wifi refuses to connect? I emailed you. And called you. Same trite responses. Nothing has changed. I'm returning you. It's not me, it's you.

Update: The app is even more useless (if that’s possible) than before. Every day brings a new update. The updates take far too long to download although it really doesn’t matter. After each update the app freezes. Stay away from this company. If this app serves as an indication of Coway quality, I’m going to return my Airmega ASAP.

Coway makes a big deal out of Airmega's wifi capabilities, and frankly I fell for it. Now these geniuses have taken a bad app and replaced it with something far, far worse. Besides being a downright ugly looking app, it cannot connect to my wifi. If you're going to brag about your purifier bring wifi capable, and consequently induce consumers to purchase your product at least in part on that basis, you better make sure you have a fully functional app especially one written in the language of your customer!!

How is it possible that this app is still so terrible after so many 1-star ratings? Like others, I believe the air purifier (300S) is fantastic, but a large portion of the appeal was its ability to integrate with my smart home, in addition to the data the app provides. After two unsuccessful attempts to connect the purifier to my WiFi, I did get it connected. I believed I was about to be flooded with data via the app. I was not. Even though the app is connected to the purifier, no data is flowing from the purifier. I can control the purifier via the app, but that’s about it. I have deleted the app, reconnected the purifier, and reset my router to name a just a few of the attempts to get data to flow and still nothing. When attempting to search the internet for a solution, nothing exists. The Coway website is worthless for troubleshooting. Instead of posting links to troubleshooting FAQs, Coway simply directs unsatisfied customers to call or email. Their inboxes must be at capacity. As a result of terrible app and lack of customer service, I’m returning the purifier.

Yes, the software is pretty bad

Regrettably have to confirm the negative reviews about the app.
Not sure who made it for Coway but it is embarrassing alright. Especially when compared to the excellent air purifier the software is supposed to accompany. Resembles Toyota and their Entune disaster somewhat. I am pretty sure Coway (just like Toyota) won’t listen to the criticism and will continue “improving” the app.
Who knows maybe the CEO relative or friend owns that software company. Or maybe it is made as someone’s high school graduation project. I made it work after poking around for 20 min with rather terrible controls. By the way the device status page assures me that device is powered off, while I can operate it on the next tab. Also control button do not retain their settings status. Always appear blank once you navigate off. I have heard that loosing a face in Korea is a big deal. Well, Coway, you are losing face with this app design quality.
