So far i really like the game it's simple it's easy and it's also pretty different which makes for a really fun experience but I don't like some features about it for example not being able to see your items in your inventory, I really hate this about the game because everytime i find something new I want to look at it and there is no way to do that, also i know the whole infinite inventory thing is suppose to be a feature but it would be pretty cool to be able to store items or maybe have a limited inventory measured by weight or the amount of items that you have. Anyway time for some suggestions
- the first that i will like to see is a power system, maybe have some new crafting things and a new craft station based on power and maybe have the power be collected by a solar panel or a steam engine built on the water or have new items in the game like coal that can be put into a furnace to create power that can be linked to a power station
- if your actually going to make the whole power station thing a thing in the new update than make the new power armor have batteries in them that needs to be recharged everytime you get damaged
Everything that i just said there is just a suggestion, you can tell that i love power so much in games like these ;). Anyway after all it's still a pretty fun game infact one of my favorites thanks and keep up the good work
Embarrassing fanbase overhypes this mediocre title
Man oh man was I excited to get this game when it finally went on sale! Sadly, I'm not exaggerating when I say my three bucks would've given me more joy if I'd bought a few McChickens.
The dialogue of this game suffers dearly from trying way too hard to be "random lol." I remember laughing gently once or twice, but mostly making a face where my mouth curls up from embarrassment when jokes were delivered. Also, this game has the worst fans. They'll fight tooth and nail to defend something -- everything -- about it, and I don't understand why.
The experience is boring, and repetition is the name of the game. You gather resources, and craft things with the resources, and complete silly and monotonous fetch quests for paper-thin characters. When that formula gets boring, well, congratulations! You don't have to play any more. In that sense, you've truly won.
A lot of fun for a while
Crashlands gave me many many hours of fun. It's simple hunt and gather setup, along with its quirky sense of humor, instantly drew me in. It's quest line, while not the best scripts, kept me going from place to place. However, -1 for its lack of differentiation. Pretty soon you'll realize that the whole game is built on getting the next tier of armor and weaponry, getting to the next difficult creature, getting more material to build essentially the same workshops and gear. It was a steep drop off to my interest level once I got to world 2 and all of sudden you're starting from scratch again too. Disappointed.
