"Crashsite" is a Third Person Shooter with a "UFO: Enemy Unknown" touch.
As an operative of a private military contractor of the Usa : "Daimonion" you investigate mysterious alien activity, that takes place around a multidimensional object - "the whirlpool", that exploded into existence presumably after an accident in a secret lab somewhere in Northern America.
At the beginning, invaders that break into our world, have significant problems adjusting. Their ships seem to just crash by themselves( left to be reverse engineered ). But they start to pose a bigger threat as the game progresses.
Extraterrestrials invade, destroy cities and "format" the terrain to make it suitable for further colonization. Preventing them from progression is a Crew of mercenaries commanded by a feisty heroine: Eez, aided by a nifty arsenal of spaceships, and weapons, also expandable by DLC.
The game is open ended. It is you who decide where we want to fly in a ship of your choice, what sites to investigate, which enemy ships to fight, and what powerups to unlock.
The game plays different every time, offering a versatile, interesting experience, that fans of action-shooters yarning for more depth, are sure to find totally satisfying and unique.

Major let down
I was really interested in this app and have been keeping an eye on this for for a sale. It went on sale and and I snagged it for .99 only and hour later it went free. I found this to be extremely annoying and I considered trying to get my money back. But then I played it and now I know I want my money back. Horrible does not even Benin to encapsulate the sheer lack of effort that went into this game and the obvious disinterest the developers had in crafting an enjoyable experience, instead they settled on dreadful controls(a term I use rather loosely considering how no responsive the interface is.) horrible textures and a bad user interface. I would really like my money back. And also I would like to add that writing reviews for your own product is beyond tacky and if you are going to do it, be more SUBTLE!
The game is good, but...
Except for a couple of things... The first, and most important, are the controls. The camera doesn't flow too well with looking around via the Virtual Joysticks, and the player's view jitter and jumps every few seconds.. This is the most off-putting problem with this game.
Aside from the control issue, there is a lag issue. I'm running this on my iPad 2 and unless I am pressed up against a building, looking at said building's wall, there tends to be an increasing amount of lag.
These are the two biggest issues that I have come across, as I'm sure many other have. Were it not for these, this game would be a 4-star if not 5-star game. Let's hope a future update fixes these issues.
I like X-com environment! The game as premium product definitely has a great potential and no IAP (thanks good). BUT there are many things to do also. It REALY needs more more more optimization. There are issues with auto-targeting when "rotation" is set to "screen" in options and serious framerate drops on ipad 3. Also ship's interface (when you speak with pilot) needs more work to do. So do base's interface. As i sad before the potential of this game is really HUGE, so Developers, don't screw up, please! Change the game to more comfortable-to-play-game.
