CrimeReports gives you real-time access to neighborhood level crime and sex offender information. The CrimeReports app is your window into the largest crime mapping and sex offender website in the world. The CrimeReports app gives you access to official crime information for over 1200 participating law enforcement agencies across North America and sex offender data for all 50 US states. As a bonus, if your local police agency is participating, you can sign up for free, automated email crime updates directly from your Apple device.
Please note that if your local law enforcement agency is not currently sharing data with CrimeReports, you will only see registered sex offender data. Your agency can partner with CrimeReports for free, so let them know you'd like to see local crime data on CrimeReports. More agencies are joining every day, so please check back often.
The CrimeReports app allows you to search the National Crime Map for information about crimes near your home, a relative's home, your child's school, or a work location. Reports are customizable by address, crime type, and date range. All of our crime information comes directly from participating law enforcement agencies, ensuring you get the information you need to keep you and your family safe.

Doesn't keep up with the crime
It's okay, but who knows if it's accurate. There was a record of gunshots near my house that was never recorded. I even have the record number. They can't seem to keep up with a tiny town let alone a big city. I don't know how their data is kept, but they're horrible at it.
There was another incident near my house 3 days later after I posted the paragraph above and it's still not showing up on this app. In addition, they need to change their disorder marking. It's way too broad of a category. It's used as anything from an unwanted person, suspicious behavior and shots fired. Not very helpful. I don't think their information is accurate at all. The few incidents I've tried to look up that were a quarter mile away from my home were never recorded.
I use the app every day as part of our neighborhood watch program but the GPS is never correct. After reinstalling the app it's good for one day only. Also, today none of the incident types loaded. I think you need a fix and an update.
Now, since IOS9 update, the app won't open. I have to turn off the phone then sometimes it will open on the 2nd or 3rd attempt. When was this app last updated? I think it's time.
Needs an update. GPS is always inaccurate, app won't open on first attempt & all incidents are duplicated.
Nice app but needs 2.3 update to work with iOS 9
This was a great app to keep up to date with crime incidents and other related policing in your locale. I hope it gets updated for iOS 9 compatibility as the app only displays the splash screen on launch. There does not seem to be a mobile version of the website available either which adds to the user frustration experience.
