App is useful but service is very slow
The concept of the app is great and I've been using it for a while, but a big problem with it is the huge delay in refunding money on unsuccessful tilts. I put money towards a vacation rental that ended up falling through, and 14 days after the tilt was cancelled I still haven't received my money. This made me unable to chip in towards another group. Be wary before tilting large sums of money, it would definitely be better to find another method.
Corruption
DO NOT USE THIS APP!!!! STOLE $200 FROM ME. I made a tilt with over 50 people in it. I let people pay any way they pleased; with cash, Venmo, or even checks. And because TILT did not receive complete and total collection from tilt itself the app did not let me close it. I had $200 in the app that they STOLE!!! I tried everything I could, and the company claimed the money was transferred to my account which I know for a fact it did NOT. this company consists of liars and scumbags. If you are dealing with this app, it WILL take your money. HORRIBLE, UNTRUSTWORTHY APP/PEOPLE. Sad.
Hasn't given me my money
Tilt shows $20 tilted to me as completed but hasn't actually deposited any money into my bank account. Customer service has been unresponsive and hasn't provided a number to call. Use tilt if you want to lose money I guess
