No "real gamer" would love this game. All these great reviews are either from friends of the developer to promote the game, or people really don't know what a really good, action or puzzle game is anymore. I am a very regular iOS gamer and this is a silly little pathetic game that is no better than it looks—a slow running couple of things that jump to pick up dots in the air (or where ever what ever is to picked up). Each level is small, slow, boring, LAME!! Oh, u can jump higher if u hold your finger on the screen, that's a twist (right!! I did stop the "adventure" right away to be honest before getting anymore "special abilities" b/c I could tell from playing games like this in the past, like Nihilumbra, that it never gets any funner. If you liked Nihilumbra, though, and lots of people apparently did b/c it was way over rated, too, you'll like this. OH, and even though there are 49 GREAT reviews, there are only 19 people who have played the game!! I wasted $2 & feel fooled!!

tl;dr: Get it, it's worth it.

I'm not someone who is used to playing games on my iPhone, however, the art really captured my attention and despite the price I figured I would give C&W a chance. I don't regret a single penny.
My heart races every time the Darkness creeps closer as i frantically attempt to make it through each level. It's a challenging game that hooks you from the beginning and keeps you coming back.
The art is totally captivating. You can tell the creators put a lot of hard work into every piece that goes into the game from the art to the unique obstacles and enemies to the eerie music and smooth, user friendly gameplay.
It's perfect amounts creepy and quirky to appease the inner gamer nerd in all of us.

Neat Idea, Bad Immersion

First off this game really is visually appealing, nice and simple graphics and great use of "shadow" elements. The little bit of story that plays into the game is barely noticeable but helps to set the mood of the game.

The gameplay is challenging almost too challenging at points. Even at early levels the player is almost expected to make perfect movements and if the player doesn't they keep dying until they learn to do it perfectly. Though thats not necessarily true, every time the player fails you may purchase a power up to make the level easier using the in game currency but they're so expensive that the creators offer you the chance to buy more with your real money. Kind of silly for a game you have to pay for just to play the game.

Controls are once again limited by the IOS system limitations that can lead to some aggravating moments. The game allows for a game controller but never tested that one out.

Over all a good game but a little too challenge to skill for me, will continue to play it to attempt to make it farther.
