CurbNinja is a tool to help motorcycle and scooter enthusiasts find and share the best places to park in busy urban centers. Plagued by parking tickets, knockdowns and never-ending searching, the pain of motorbike parking lead the CurbNinja team to develop a user-friendly app that not only makes finding parking easier, but also gives riders the ability to share spots they find with the community.
With CurbNinja, riders are able to search for the hidden gems of street parking by address or by their current location on their mobile device. Our spots are easy to understand and include photos to ensure there is no mistake on where to stash your ride. All of our spots have been vetted by riders within the CurbNinja community. This means the spot you find on the app was tagged by another rider, just like you.
CurbNinja is ideal for:
• Finding free & paid street parking spaces in urban centers
• Parking safely in spots vetted by fellow riders
• Sharing other great parking spots with the community
• Avoiding costly parking tickets & towing bills
• Saving time when looking for motorbike parking
A Hunk of Junk
Just bought a scooter and was really excited when a google search provided this app. Sounded great. I don't believe I've ever experienced an app so frustrating though. When I tried to sign up it deleted the previous info I'd entered, the preloaded choices of scooters didn't even include Genuine (a popular make), and the kicker was that the only intuitive interface element was one prepopulated form field, which indicated my sex as male. The search feature didn't find me a single location, and I searched 3 times and cast a 2 mile net, plus the map never even loaded. MVP guys, look it up, your app bummed me out.
This app is terrible
It forces you to sign up, either through Facebook or your giving the developer your email address. Why you need an account is not clear. The user interface is terrible; it’s hard to use and it’s ugly. The sign up screen is broken, but if you get past it, the app generates many error messages that are confusing and seem out-of-place. This is going to take quite a bit of work to fix up, but I hope the developer does, because it’s a neat concept.
Great concept, needs refinement...
I would really like to see this improved, I think this app fills a need, but the glitches make it difficult to use.
Buggy sign up, I would suggest a Facebook connect sign up option.
Waze would be a good model to go after. Waze' success is not only the social contribution but the app is a solid and reliable design.
