What's New in Version 1.12
Minor enhancements and bug fixes
Great concept, but
The sign in process is so stinking slow it makes me crazy. Once in the pharmacy area, the listing of medications makes no sense at all. On my way! Of my medications require a new script every month, some do not. The medication that needs monthly written scripts are listed so many times, it makes it difficult to find other medications. On top of that, they do not see, to,be on any particular order, not by date, not alphabetic. If they were to say, alphabetized the listings, and remove medications that have not been refilled in a number of months, that would help. Then make the outdated medication list available, I think you would have half the problems taken care of.
The slow log in could just be the pure number of customers.
Other than these issues, the site appears to be great.
Poor interface and login process
I was hoping that the CVS's new app version would resolve some of the awful issues that had previously plagued it. Well, it no longer freezes, so that's a fix, but the login process is badly, badly buggy. Half the time, I see an error message, other times, I'm already in the middle of ordering medication, and it suddenly tells me to log in again. Then there's the *mess* of the interface. I don't need to see a physical representation of a CVS store to understand what department I want to select - in fact, this interface makes it very difficult to select something, and requires far more taps than a site that shows top and second level links. As a mobile product professional, I think that the app developers should hang their heads in shame. A very poor experience.
Bad outweighs the good
I'm only rating this for prescriptions since I don't use it for anything else.
The good: 1) I can access all my family's prescriptions in one place. 2) I don't have to punch in each Rx number individually on the phone.
The bad: 1) It gets VERY confusing to have multiple entries for each Rx, especially when some are brand name and some are generic. They should automatically archive Rx with no refills when they get a new one. I shouldn't have to do this manually. 2) Some Rx say they need renewal but they're too soon to refill. So you may request renewal thinking you've requested a refill - it gets confusing what you've actually requested. 3) Rx seem to go on automatic refill without my requesting it - I don't want ANY Rx on automatic refill, and I've asked that at the store, but it keeps happening. 4) sometimes when I try to remove automatic refills or try to archive, the option is either not available or I get an error message. So I can't clean up the prescription list the way it needs to be. 5) can't request non-childproof caps. Can't do this on the phone either.
Im going back to the phone for the most part until this gets easier to use.
