Cyberduck is an FTP, SFTP, WebDAV, S3 & OpenStack Swift browser to transfer files to your web hosting service provider and connecting to cloud storage accounts from Rackspace Cloud Files, Google Storage and Amazon S3 with the same easy to use interface with quickly accessible bookmarks. The browser allows to download, upload and move or copy files using drag and drop with an hierarchical view to browse large folder structures efficiently. Transfers are handled with ease including synchronization of local with remote directories. To edit files, a seamless integration with any external editor application makes it easy to change content quickly. Both Amazon CloudFront and Akamai content delivery networks (CDN) can be easily configured to distribute your files worldwide from edge locations.

really great app

i use cyberduck for web/ftp maintenance as frequently as i use finder for accessing files on my local machine.

i publish our weekly ios app updates (we use an ios enterprise development account and over-the-air publishing for much of our work.) cyberduck allows me to pull up the files on our site, double-click-to-edit the app distro html page (i use text wrangler for editing) and then when i hit ‘save’ on my editor, the updated html is automatically sent via cyberduck back up to our webpage. no weird local file save/upload process to muck up. i also use it to upload and maintain our .ipa and .plist files on the website to keep them in sync with our current distributions — i use cyberduck’s aptly-named synchronization tool for this.

i receive regular updates for cyberduck (misc bug fixes) so i know the authors are active, but i’ve never honestly had any crashes or failures for the app. nice work, cyberduck authors!

Powerful and pretty easy to use

If you FTP to a few places, you’ll want this. I also have a few other FTP programs, but this is the one I use most.
