Nice App - Battery Hog

I've been using Cyclemeter for a couple of years and love the range of features and customisations. The bluetooth support for monitors such as cadence etc. is great and the maps and routes work well.
On the downside the last few releases (more or less since iOS 8) the app has been a real battery drain. Even with EVERYTHING on my iPhone 5 turned off or disabled I get little more than an hours usage whereas before I'd be at 50% after an hour. The support/feedback from Abvio is non-existant as all emails to them looking to see how to improve the app and battery performance go unanswered.
Its a shame but I can only give 3 stars to a cycle-tracking application that only lasts an hour and a bit when in use. It will make it close to useless for many users.

Neat tracking app

I just downloaded the app and upgraded to paid version 1 week ago. I have a mtn bike and haven't had sensors installed yet. This gives you time, speed, mapping and distance via google or apple maps. It gives a calorie estimate too. It keeps track of rides so you can gradually increase ride time/ length. It eliminated the need for the front wheel distance sensor at a fraction of the cost. $4.99 It works with 3rd party bluetooth sensors and I am getting the wahoo speed:cadence sensor installed next week to see what it adds.

Best one out there!!!!

I've used Strava, Endomondo, MapmyRide, and Wahoo. I believe this is the most flexible and compete App available. They don't charge you monthly to get the advanced features. You just pay once and you're in. Provides automatic downloads to Strava to stay in touch with your friends. Let's your program intervals, zones, times, etc. Only criticism is that it could be a bit more flexible in designing your own pages and provide Internet / PC access to the same information.
