We all know that water is essential to our health, 2/3 of body is consists of water, yet most of us unknowingly suffer from chronic dehydration, this is a underlying cause of many illnesses. To most of us, we are always too busy to drink water, or we only drink water when we feel thirsty, that’s too late if so, thirst is signal which our body warn us that our body have lost water balance, and the cells have already dehydrated to serious situation.
Water plays a very important role in our body, it transports nutrients and oxygen into cells, regulates body temperature, helps with metabolism and so on, drinking enough water can help us lose weight, look younger with healthier skin, less likely to get sick, helps in digestion and constipation, relieves fatigue, have a good mood, reduce the risk of cancer and more.
While it is not to say that the more water your drink, the healthier you will be, too much water will also hurt your health, especially for those who suffer from heart disease, hypertension, nephrosis, edema and so on, drinking a healthy amount of water and drink water in right time is vital to your health.

Ok but counter won't reset
I like the GUI of tapping on each water glass. However, when I first downloaded it a couple of months ago I contacted the developer with a pretty obvious suggestion. I pointed out that the app badge that displays your remaining glasses of water towards meeting your goal does not reset at midnight. In other words, if your goal is a glasses a day, and on Monday you drink six glasses then the badge would say two when you went to bed. Logically, if eight glasses a day is your goal then the app badge should have reset to eight when you wake up the following morning. Instead in this example it would continue to display two glasses remaining towards your goal. This seems like a pretty obvious suggestion, however, it has yet to be incorporated and I think this is a weakness of the app.
Great app. Very helpful.
Very rarely do I buy apps. And this is one of them. The notification counter stating the number of cups remaining is very helpful. Clicking to empty each glass as I go is strangely satisfying too. Most of all, seeing the chart of my water intake history is the most motivating part. Seeing yourself sticking to your goals days/weeks in a row makes you want to keep it up. Would be even more motivating if you get badges for drinking your goal X amount of days in a row.
I loved this app, but I believe that I've out grown the app because I don't use it as much anymore. The app doesn't connect with My Fitness Pal or Fitbit where both apps allow me to log my water intake, plus these apps speak to each other.
I would recommend this app if you don't use MFP/Fitbit. If you have an Apple watch or use the Health app this would definitely be for you because this works with both.
Happy water drinking!
