Have fun caring for your plants.
The Daisy Sensor App works with our Low Energy Bluetooth "Daisy Sensor" to measure your plant's soil moisture, temperature, and light 24 hours a day.
Don't worry if you don't have a Daisy Sensor yet, the App will still help you care for your plants by counting down the days to the next watering, letting you tap the plant icon to set it to "Watered" and sending you alerts when your plant needs water.
Download the Daisy App, name your plant, take a picture of your plant, even give your plants individual personalities. The Daisy App catalogs your plants right before your eyes.
The Daisy App will notify you when it is time to water or otherwise care for your plants.
Want more information? Select your plant and Daisy will show you sensor information for watering points, how much light the plant sees each day, and the temperatures it feels.
We currently have over 200 plants in our database. We are working furiously to expand the list of plants. You can help. If you do not find your plant in our database and you know it's information, you can enter the information manually using the "Advanced" plant editor. Then share your plant profile to the public Daisy Cloud database.
This release is our first version. This version will notify you to water your plants, it does not yet send alerts if the light and temperature are inadequate but it will show you graphs of your plant's light and temperature. We plan to add light and temperature alerts very soon.
Chart is now easier to expand! We made the button to expand the chart large enough to include the collapsed chart. So now tapping the collapsed chart or the label above the chart will expand the chart. You still have to tap the label above the chart to collapse the chart. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to do things like pan and scroll on the chart when expanded.
The chart data point detail tags (brought up by long pressing on the chart data) are now synchronized across the 3 charts when moving the tag in the moisture chart. Using the chart data point detail tags allows you to see moisture, light and temperature to 2 digits resolution for each data point.
Ratings and Reviews
Don’t waste your money
I got four of these as a kickstarter. Three arrived and the batteries were dead. One worked but the app is total garbage. These guys are a joke.
The sensors seem accurate. But the app is poorly designed. It's near impossible get to the data your looking for. The graphs are hard to open and operate. The Y axis is imprecise (the moisture is somewhere between 20%-70%). You can't read the 3 values simultaneously.
Developer Response ,
The Y axis horizontal lines are the plants minimum and maximum safe watering levels (20% & 70% in your example). If you want to see a precise moisture value, long press on a data point and a tag will popup showing the moisture to 1% resolution.
A new version (1.05) has been submitted for review by Apple with a larger button area for expanding the chart and synchronized data tags so you can see the 2 digit data values for moisture, light & temperature simultaneously. A long press on the moisture chart will bring up the data tags.
Crashes when I take a photo
I've just started using the app and want to add my first plant. When I click to add a photo, the app crashes every time.
Developer Response ,
Sorry about that. The latest release (1.03) fixes that problem. Hopefully you will try it again.
With Family Sharing set up, up to six family members can use this app.
