I love this game but
If this were before their last update this would be a 5 star review. I love this game. I will spend hours playing it trying to beat chaos. That level is amazingly frustrating in all the right ways to make me want to spend the time to beat it.
Why only two stars though if I love the game so much. Here is a glitch where if you make a new record for yourself the app wants you to open Facebook to post. I don't allow any app to post on my Facebook. So I get stuck with a spinning thinking wheel of death as the app tries to connect but can't since I didn't allow it to. I tried pretending to post to see if I can... still get the same problem. This becomes an issue when you finally by some strange stroke of luck I finally get to the third save point and see the dreaded post thing and you get so angry that you want to throw your phone since now you have to reopen the app and start from the beginning. My hours of playtime on this app has turned to maybe 10 minutes at a time before I see the stupid post screen and get out of the app in irritated anger. So my favorite app is becoming my least favorite app everyday that goes by. Soon it may leave my phone since my frustration is not beating a level but a glitch I cannot control.
WHY SO MANY ADS
I enjoy the overall experience in dancing line, but there are TOO MANY ADS!!! The worst part is that you have to pay $5 to get rid of them. Usually you would pay 1 or two dollars, but 5 is way too much. Whenever I play the game I usually turn on airplane mode and disconnect from my wifi but I STILL GET ADS. One time my brother had almost beaten level 3, The Plains, when an ad popped up right in the middle of the screen while he was still playing the level. It's shocking, really. Dancing line is basically a giant ad minefield, be careful. I like the game, well, sort of. Honestly, half the time the music isn't in sync with the level and I have to rely on my eyes rather than my ears, even though the games wants you to be "one with music" or some crap like that. Just avoid it. There are other games you can use to pass the time. It may seem fun at first, but that's before it buries you in ads. And it seems like Most of the favorable reviews on here are probably fake. Go play rolling sky or something, it's not as bad as this.

I love this game, like i'm obsessed with it, but my only complaint is that once you get to the cathedral, spamming becomes too much of a factor. it's so much more fun to time things to the music. just guessing is TORTURE. i also think you should nerf the level and put the first checkpoint after the green piano section, because the following section is so random and difficult that playing the piano section over and over just to learn the next section is extremely tedious and boring. it took me over a week. if the new levels will be even more difficult, please STICK TO THE BEAT. take the randomness out of the game and make us play the music, which is the point to rhythm games right?
