Too many HO's...

This is a nicely rendered game and it lasts a long time, which I like. My main complaint, which may sound strange, in that this is a hidden object game, is there are too many hidden objects games in it. I felt like I just kept getting bounced around all over the place from one HO to another in order to get items needed, with very little story in between or other activity. And although I like the fragmented pieces, as stated elsewhere, they often bear no resemblance to the picture you are trying to match. To make matters worse I would often find the piece, but tapping on it did no good. I would finally decide I must be mistaken and after all else was selected would hit Hint only to be told that was indeed the right piece. This happened time and again. After anywhere from five to twenty taps it would finally release. Very annoying. There were some very interesting puzzles. Also I have a feeling I missed something. There was a door with a frog on it in the beginning which you needed a crown for. I never found the crown and the strategy guide was no help. Just said, put the crown there and so forth. Didn't say where the crown was to be found. ?? I feel like I've missed something. Perhaps different versions show you different things. I'd try it again but don't think I can face all those HO's again. I'd like a game where you have to think a little more, not just look.

I can't play this for any length of time without becoming annoyed. Instead of hidden objects, you play "fragmented object" games. So, for example you look for pieces of a crown. The problem is that the picture clues that tell you what to look for have almost no resemblance to what the object looks like. For example, if the clue shows a white pearl ring oriented so that it looks like a full circle, when you find it, it will be a black pearl ring laying on its side. A blue cloth is really a green cloth. A large red gem will be a small purple gem. So you tap, tap, tap, hoping to stumble on the right object...But wait! If you actually manage to find the right thing, and tap on it, it won't respond. When you have exhausted all possibilities and use a hint, only then will the thing you have tapped on five times actually respond to your tap.

The graphics are great, it's a long game, there is a helpful map, the hints recycle quickly, the $5.00 collectors edition has a good strategy guide, but the game itself is just frustrating more than fun. Ten minutes has been my maximum play time before I have to set it down and walk away.

One of the best games!!

I love it when Big Fish (BF) puts games like this in the App Store!! These kinds of games is why I have just about all of BF's games. I absolutely just love games like this that have a great story line, great graphics, on the dark side, mysterious, and have the best hidden object (HO) games in them also. BF kinda slacked there for a little while on us but by looking at their newer games I think they may actually be listening to us, it's about time. Also the game Azada is going to be having the sequel come out soon in the App Store! I can't wait to get that one! They do need to get on the ball in releasing sequels to the games they have in the App Store that say if you rate the game 5 stars it will help them build the sequel, well I've seen a lot of 5 stars on games that are supposed to have sequels and they still don't have them, even on ones that are over a year old.

But anyway I do like this game and it's worth the price and you won't be sorry you bought it if you like games like this.
Happy Gaming,
